This is a heavy emotional story. The game itself brings some small, fun challenges, but the story itself --- wow. I was so affected that I actually decided to watched the credits at the end (something I rarely do, even with feature-length films)! If only more games had such intelligence and / or emotional impact...

ok the next to last one has a simple concept but its the one i had the most difficulty the last one is just fun to watch its best if you mark your computer screen and the last one is just a swarm of clones just keep pressing right while tapping up

real good game. It wasnt that hard either. Which is nice. I like a puzzle game where I could actually reach the end. 5/5

Very appreciable story/game.
There seems to be a bug where if you jump while against the edge of the area you are in very slow motion.

Volume controls are in the Pause Menu, DLP1234, just like how it says in the instructions (which I assume would be the first logical place to look for instructions on how to mute). Just set the volume to off. That said, no the game doesn't really need that button. Hell, one of the tags is "Good Music"! >_>

lvl 18 takes forever because if u fail once u have to start a new one and even more annoying is to get them all be on your hat at the ending to take them to the green door. If there was a skip to see the ending i would use it since i didnt get there yet still stuck. i really want to see the ending of it. either way its a really nice relaxing game and very emotional + good story.12/12

Wow if you zoom in you can see that the character is actually a guy in a suit who has a moving gut and has his hands in his pockets

i think i know why its called "The company of myself" because you make copies of yourself to do stuff
=================
I think it's called the company of myself, because he is alone.

Congrats! 3 Million plays! Highly deserved because this game is a work of art. Games on Kongregate simply weren't designed to change how you feel about life. I thought this game was simply beautiful. Done with the emotions, it was an original concept, and creative. 5/5 every time!

this game is excellent it would be very good to make a second one but serouisly it is a sad story and it really made me almost want to cry but its a very very sad story..

The easyest way to complete: "And like this, I continue.".
Just jump up at the start and make a pillar of man, and when it is high enough, you can have one final man walking the green line to the exit.
Better then the walkthrough cause this is shorter and you dont have to aim correctly.

if you are reading this comment it is because the comment was typed and then posted on this flash game which means that you are reading a comment posted on this game relating to some aspect of the game and if you are still reading this comment it means that you are really bored and have nothing better to do but read a long comment discussing the aspects of discussing comments which i am currently commenting about commenting about

think that the last level could be kind of a metaphor for his live, I mean you basically have to create thousands of shadows and the all have to fall into the gap so the "real" person can succeed. Its like drop your past so you can go on.

Also: the way I solved Level 20 was incredibly depressing. I wonder if you really are supposed to get through the level by hurling yourself into that pit a dozen times. Because if not, I guess I did it wrong. Suicidally wrong.

i wanted to make a comment but i belive i no longer can, for i am a loner, never killed anyone but im alone...intressting it took me something as trivial as a videogame to realise that...

This game is a magnum opus and the story itself cannot be better. I give this game a 6/5 for the story and the emotion it gives!!! The story was also subtly entwined with the game which gives it a different originality.

My film group is currently working on a short film based on this game, we're hoping to do a good job and we should have it out in hopefully two weeks or less =). Legendary game.

Very nice story indeed and i love how it reads like a good book . BUT the gameplay is no match for chronotron . sorry it's true.
