Actually, I've found firing the Zero Writes at the ending portion of the final boss battle to be better. In the beginning, it's slow firing and easy to hit being so big. As you destroy it more and more, you hit it less often per time onscreen from it being much smaller and a bit fragmented. This is when I've found Zero Writes to be most useful.

I have just earned the second badge on the game, and I feel like it should have been a hard and not medium badge. About half my deaths were on that final level, and I died quite a few times. Then again, I'm crap at these bullet hell type games most of the time.

This game really hit home for me. Chronic depression is something I've struggled with ever since I can remember. I'm lucky though. My medicine works. There are a lot of people out there that don't have that.

Just noticed that on the last level the heartbeat noise shifts to the left/right speaker based on where it is on the screen. At first I was confused at how accurate I seemed to be at subconsciously predicting where the boss would enter the screen, but I suppose that's what it was designed to do. Really nice subtlety.

There aren't many times when I feel genuine affection for a video game character. When that does happen, it's usually in a studio-developed title like Portal.

my second run through, and besides some irritation at the blinding mass of upgrade points and the slow zero bomb (It'd work better if each bomb saved is an extra hit point),my only quip is that Y.F.Y.I.A.R.s' audience will be probably a lot smaller and many people will only see half the dual experience.

Bugged. The game load fine, then I click new game and nothing happens (black and green screen with the cross mouse cursor, 0 and 1 and that's all).

Touching and deep story which makes me uncontrollably hooked to it. I also liked the humour, the music and the art (almost everything in the game).

This game was a solid, fast and fun top-down shooter that was only sligtly marred by the evil little homing viruses hidden beneath the blank data bits. What really made this stand out were the messages from your AI host. Many were funny, all were very well written and the last few were extremely emotional. When she complained about missing her 'dad', I truly felt sorry for her, despite knowing it was just a game. Overall, my only complaints are the short length (Which isn't exactly the biggest problem ever) and the hiding viruses. Great Game: 5/5

This game is deceptive. On the surface it lures you to think it's merely a trivial shooting game with a couple of upgrades. But the real token is the story as you progress. Quite frankly deep. It talks about depression, emotions, and whatnot. The A.I.'s maker committed suicide but the A.I. herself wasn't able to conclude that. She was awaiting her maker desperately. She even developed emotional bonds at her core. To the point of calling him "Dad". Which you eventually.. had to destroy in a twisted turn of events. As you and the A.I. realize that those same emotions that made her human-like is what corrupted her system. It makes you wonder how true that is in our society too... in terms of emotions like greed and envy, among others... Yup. A deep game indeed.

This game actually made me cry. EXADI lost what she considered her dad. Then she tells you to basically kill her. It made me very emotional.

It seems to be possible that you can finish the game and not get the badge, happened to me at least, refreshing the page DOES NOT WORK!

I felt so bad for the computer and was like "I don't want to commit murder of a computer". The implications and social critique went far past a normal video game. Great game, 5/5

Just in geometry at school "Oh good please god, no more circles" nah but great game really enjoyable and several mini heart attacks from random things popping out of nowhere. thanks for creating it

I was really caught by the story in this. Usually I'd skim and skip the story parts of a lot of flash games, but this one was actually quite engaging. Good job there.

Brilliant and beautiful game. Great story. Great gameplay. Good upgrade system. Effective music, and absolutley brilliant dialouge.

In YFYIAR you built a computer. That was EXADI. After you escaped, you eventually committed suicide due to depression. Another person came along and fixed most of her problems. ABOMI is the original AI in YFYIAR. EXADI wanted to meet you. That is, assuming there is a place people go after they die... The computer you built is just that, now. A computer.
