Tips for people who keep losing survivors: (1) Assign no more than 4 people for better chances of going undetected, (2) Melee is the most important stat for increasing chances of going undetected and surviving attacks. My search team have stats like these (Shooting/Melee/Searching): 1/2/3, 1/3/2, 2/3/1, 1/3/2 (i.e 3 with 3 melee, 1 with 2 melee). My percentages are 52%, 80%, 85%. I lost a grand total of 1 survivor after 40 days.

It's fun for about the first 5 or 10 minutes but it got boring really quickly. It doesn't feel like there's much strategy to the game, unfortunately. I'm hardly into the second map and I have more survivors than I know what to do with, and the weapons I use are pretty much inconsequential. I like the overall feel of the game but it gets too easy, too quickly.

Day 1: There are zombies everywhere and I have a M9; I've been preparing my entire life for this, I know what to do.
Day 3: Found some survivors. Hope they brought food, cause I'm just about sick of eating Zombie.
Day 8: Jury rigged a radio using a plastic cup, two coconuts, an exercise bike, and a hamster wheel. Learned that off of Star Trek.
Day 13: Found a cat, named him Bradley Fernandez, not sure why, might be going insane; strange how he isn't zombie chow. Taught him how to reload my guns
Day 15: Found a bow, but no arrows; won't matter, I'll improvise; got plenty of zombie bones in which to make arrows.
Day 26: Lost three of the four guys that went for supplies. I'll shoot them later. Really sick of zombie meat; ate the couch yesterday.
Day 31: THEY FOUND A M249! My very own machine gun! We eat like kings!
Day 40: The army arrived; about time; we were just about out of hot sauce and Bradley had hacked up a fur ball; hope the Army has vets ... and food.

For those complaining that the survivors get wiped out all the time, the game is actually well balanced. Shooting & Melee combat skills affect the chances of getting caught & odds of them surviving getting caught. Stop being so greedy on search loot, balance out your search party & build up your survivors slowly over time and you will do well.

Why does your game lag so much, its not my computer. Use should have it lag less! Im just giving a tip not trying to be a jerk :)

you have 4% chance of being detected, you lose two members of the team first round with 4% chance. Seems legitimate since I went 5 rounds with over 10% and not getting noticed...

Goddamn so awesome but I suck at saving my search party :V But so thank you from doing the game I feel like this is so true, so much strategy, so intense.. just I-I'm out of words man. But can I have a wish? PLZ MAN I WANT A MULTIPLAYER MODE FOR MAH FRIENDSUU :D

Excellent game, but M4's description is wrong. Fire rate should be 3Rd Burst/Semi Auto
Other than that and a few other minor inconveniences, 5/5 game

really fun game but when I have 5 survivors on search, (early levels so I dont need defence) have 86% chance of going unnoticed, 90% chance of survival even if found, and still lose 5 survivors? man that's literally unrecoverable from. And it happens all the time, is this a bug with the statistics?

Really fun little shooter. For extra fun, get someone working as an assistant and both machine guns :D Shoot 200 bullets, switch guns, shoot 100 bullets, repeat ad infinitum.
