Can't use the crossbow's scope when aiming in the lower-right part of the screen. Also it's pretty infuriating to have enemy helmets negate headshots - makes the precision weapons more or less useless, why not just take aimed potshots at a faster rate with an smg?

I agree with the difficulty being too low. Never had to use the explosives upgrade, and never got hit during the 40 days... and I'm using a touchpad to play on top of that. I did primarily use the high accuracy weapons though, and then switched one of them out for a grenade launcher towards the end.

there should be a keyboard map to check for keyboard commands, even better if it were customizable for those of us who don’t use qwerty

The difficulty needs up a bit I think. I repaired twice through the 40 days and the lowest day I was at 97%. Other than that, the gameplay is great and I enjoyed it very much.

This cat knows how to use a gun better that the old man...
Pfff... i bet it can reload the weapons faster than he does...

This game seems like it wasn't play tested before it was released. mob scaling is too small; mute button should be available everywhere within the game; volume control should separate sound effects from music; aiming reticule is undersized. Overall the game seems kinda under-documented too. It's not like you need to write a book, but more information would have been helpful.

i found a cat named bradley fernandez that has a skill of 2 shooting,2 melle and 1 search what kind of cat have skills like this?

Oh, I forgot it. Wich is the point of having a morale status if I get +24 finding 3-5 survivors BUT I LOOSE 60 for getting one guy dead? -.- All the game I've had 0 morale. Wich is appropiate since this game is demoralizing

1)Not being able to switch during a reload is really frustrating
2)All my survivors keep dying while they scavenge. The % of spotting is just TOO high and there is nothing I can do to lower it. I'm no longer scavengin anymore since I can't send more than 1 guy to check or everyone dies. And so, the scavenge % of looting is hell low -.-
3) there is no point in having "scoped" weaps. I don't even see the lens. You add a way to "aim" and shoot or change the circle of aiming since I missed some shots 'cause the zombies are just too far.
I'm not enjoying this game but I'm to obsesive to leave it unfinished.

1/5 I know this might sound hateful, but when you have a game where you literally have to squint to be able to see the enemies, that is just crap and makes me dislike the game. The other thing, do not give me a weapon then not tell me how the weapon works, referencing the crossbow in where you can fast reload it possibly, I'm sure their's other weapons like this and I like to know these things before I bring a weapon into a fight. The tutorial of the game was also lacking, as apparently some people are considered friendly in the field, which this game did not mention at all. That is why this game is a 1/5.

I honestly do not see the problem with almost any of the game mechanics besides maybe the fact that your search party has to consist mainly of of lv3 melee with lv2 search with that setup none of my survivors died the entire 40 days. Also agree somewhat with the person that commented on the size of the aiming reticle. Do not let the top comments discourage you from playing its a fun shooter. You just need to realize how you need to set up your survivors. My survivor shooting efficiency was 100% by day 20 and my stealth was at 65-70

Well as long as zombies only attack from one direction and there aren't any insanely fast ones i believe I am all set for when the apocalypse happens :D

Here's a question: what kind of idiot leader with an arsenal of weapons only uses 2 in a fight against a horde of zombies? Seriously, I want to know.

I agree that the auto-reload thing can be a bit tedious— rather than being able to switch while reloading, however, it might just be enough to add the option to enable/disable auto-reload. That way, when you have a personal assistant, you can turn it off, and when you don't, you can just put it back on. And it might be nice to add some chance of just randomly encountering survivors (with percent chance increasing inversely with the amount of survivors you already have). That'd fix the problem people seem to run into where if your survivors die early on, you end up pretty overwhelmed pretty quickly, and without any chance of other weapons. I just feel that the way it is now— having to risk survivors to find survivors— has too much potential for disaster. Otherwise, I loved it!

Wow. I got to the third stage, had a ton of weapons, had only lost 1 survivor, and i had all my spots full.... but my progress didnt get saved. something i hate about kongregate is how progress only gets saved on 1 computer(most of the time) and sometimes it gets deleted even if its the same computer. I saved it like 5 times but i have to restart an hours worth of gameplay.... :P Good game overall.

It's rather a joke and a terrible one at that that my survivors die regardless of what i do, oh the joy of terrible game mechanics.

Lots of potential but unpolished, sure doesn't feel like a game that sound be a sequel, more like a .2 its rough around the edges (like the scope not being visible on the screen if you look to far to the side, or the amazing dying survivors, or the pointless morale) its close to a great game but it has a little farther to go.

dauntless:
The first number needs to be as high as possible. It is you chance to go unnoticed. If it is 0% that means you WILL get caught by zombies.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I wish you could give the survivors your extra guns. What is the point of stocking up on machine guns if you can't use more than 2 anyway? After you find your favorte weapons and have enough surviors. It is better to not scavange anymore as you can't lose anyone that way and lose happiness along with them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
okay, let's ignore for the second the completely and utterly awful survival capabilities of basically any and all search parties *I.E. you will lose search party members, almost regardless of the percentages, if you can even bring them UP in the first place*, why the hell can't you have your character search. seriously. maybe make a little secondary location with some zombies that you have to fight with a greatly reduced distance for zombies to travel till instant death. That way, you can justify the NIGH CONSTANT death of search parties, because HEY maybe it's REALLY HARD to not die or something *note- should not be that hard to not die, zombies are mostly slow and dumb.*
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just doesn't do it for me. Reloading takes too far long and it's suicide to try swapping guns if you've just run out of ammo. Survivors don't exactly fight like their life depends on it! Survivors die at the drop of a hat and appear to infrequently to ever put any on melee defence. Shame because it feels like it's really close to a game that I would seriously enjoy.
