This game has a unique leveling feature.... called the skill curve :) the more you shoot the better you get. Your character is the same, but you sure can change.

Great game, nice graphics but I think that the weapons are badly balanced. Each time I play with something else than the long, I lose more than 50% of my health. The cross bow take ages to to reload (logical) but it doesn't worth to use it because it's less accurate and make less damages as the longbow ><
Apart from that, really great game.

Great game but its just not smooth enough the graphics are maybe to good which takes away from the smoothness of movement

a really good game with great graphics and a nice upgrade system! one suggestion: to make the game a bit easier it would be nice if injured enemies would walk a little slower ;)

I found a glitch. I was using the heavy crossbow and suddenly the game speed up. The enemies were moving fast and I can't even hit archers.

I'm not sure why people are finding this game so hard, I beat it without losing a round ever. As long as you kill MOST of the enemies, your walls don't usually take too much damage in a single round and you make more than enough gold to heal them most rounds.

"Sir! The villages defense is weak, there is only one archer, should we send some low rank peseants to run up behind him and slit his throat?" Commander "NO! We charge right through, if its only one archer, we will get through" "But our last 25 assaults failed..."

I won in the 3. Try. Get Bodkin asap. Use maed against riders and take out carts and ramms with the catapults. I liked the small crossbow because its easy to reload and has a good acuracy so its perferct in combination with the mead.

I think this is a great game. It is difficult but too many games are easy nowadays. It would be nice to have a "practice arena" where you can get used to shooting moving targets with your upgrades before you start the battle.

Good, really good concept, though it need more upgrades for the bow, or maybe the character evolves with time, getting faster, more accurate etc...
The aimingcircle for the support needs to be offset to the bow, every time I press 1 or 2 the circle is way of in the distant and it takes a while to find it :P But if the circle is support-circle is X pixles lower then the bows, it would be perfect.

It's quite hard to start with, but it got easier and exponentially more satisfying with archer and catapult upgrades. I don't know if it would have been any better had the game told me how close i was to finishing it, even tho the surprise came just after i started managing to get the gate back up to 100% after every fight. Good game!

I found the aiming too difficult or maybe I just couldn't the hang of it. Also as mentioned you get too little money for kills and it costs too much to repair the castle. You never get enough to buy archers or catapults after trying to upgrade your equipment.

(continued from previous) Lastly, stick with the bodkin points. Armor can make your life hell in this game IF you let it. Don't let it ;p Bodkins are needful and not horribly expensive - ignore the broadheads, with a good bow they're superfluous and do zero damage if they happen to hit armor - not even remotely worth the damage increase. Lastly, your income is totally predicated on how many guys you kill - repairs aren't that expensive, just hammer guys down and don't freak if they get in the castle. BFD you can afford it and upgrades np at all if you kill maybe 2/3 of the attackers. Not that hard to do. Just don't frickin' panic and spaz out and miss everything. If a guy is gonna get through LET IT GO - find another target. Rinse, repeat

Wow... folks this really isn't THAT hard - and no I'm not one of those morons that claims anything is simple to play with one hand tied to my dong ;p Play a bit and understand the arc on your weapon. Yes, it's a bit wonky at first, it's supposed to be you're using a crap bow. You can still easily peg the little bastards once you just play a bit and see how the arrows fly. Pick up spiral fletching on a longbow asap if you're using a bow, increases your accuracy to nearly crossbow levels (compound bow isn't worth it, take a look at the stats makes it pretty obvious.) If you're ok with the crossbow loading mechanism (and once again it's not that hard if you just practive some) the heavy crossbow is damn near a sniper rifle with large fletching on the bolts. Can take head shots all the doodah day once you get used to the firing arcs, and no I'm not exaggerating. 2/3 at worst for attempted headshots with that thing. (cont.)

Way too much lag for the amount of timing that's required. How about chilling out on the graphics so that you've got a playable game? Not everyone buys a brand new computer every year...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The aiming mechanism needs to be more accurate. took me FIVE shots to hit an archer that wasn't moving while i was centered on him. How are you expected to hit moving targets multiple times?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
concept is great. I quit annoyed after a few levels. shooting into a group of enemies and doing no damage to no one (impossibly) got old.

survive 25 days and you win, wasnt too hard, though i wish gold drops were more at least for more advanced troops and repairs were 1gold per percent to allow us to upgrade more.

Really interesting! Although I only played until I had the heavy crossbow and all of the building upgrades. Couple of things that bugged me:
It would be nice to have a practice mode between waves so that you can get a feel for the weapons and arrows you just bought.
You can't use abilities while reloading your crossbow
Difficult to tell if abilities are recharged or simply mostly recharged.
Also, I think I'm not really a fan of the whole directing other archers/catapults thing in general. There's already a lot to keep track of with leading your targets and reloading, it would be nice to have at least the archers be automated.

Pros: Different place and time for the storms ops; nice touch by adding bows; good graphics/////Cons: Graphics can lag older computers, hard to aim and shoot, as realistic as the first two involving wind and ballistics

Nice Idea, but upgrades are to expensive, the unity to hard to shoot and repair is to expensive. Give us some tasks and quests to gain extra money

Awesome game, but there should be something like a fullscreen-mode or something. It's all really small and I have to hug my screen to aim... pure pixelshooting.
The flow of gold needs some adjustments, ideed. Repairing costs too much. Furthermore, after the fights, I'd like to see some stats (X headshots -> X gold). Would be kinda usefull...
And maybe a little bug: When shooting stuff near the right side, the reload-circle should be at the top layer. Atm it's hidden behind the wooden structure.
Again, awesome game. I'm curious if there will be some additional content. :)

There's way too little practice with the lead necessary—I hit only one bear and somehow passed the tutorial. Also, when I upgraded my bow, the change in arrow made all my previous practice moot, and I got overwhelmed quickly.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like the concept over normal castle protect games, but quickly gets overwhelming and not enough gold from kills. Also a goal would be nice - Survive X days to win, survive X/2 days and escape the destruction of your village
