Frankly i was tired of all that guns...playing with a bow alone made this interesting, and then what a game! Nice graphics, nice gameplay....5 star all the way

Since I finally got my laptop able to run this game 100% w/out any lags, I've been playing it often....even though I can finally "win" easily, I still really enjoy the gameplay. This is the prototype for a REAL ACTION game(shooter, etc). It takes much more skill than most, if not ever, game I've ever played.......we're talkin' Atari/ColecoVision age here!
Hopefully more games will capture the "planning" needed to actually make successful shots/kills. Amazing job of accuracy by the developers. Well done you guys!!

This game could be fantastic.....the older one was just the "battle" but the thing that will always keep the game from greatness is...........the **ing arrows don't hit their targets!! Kidding for the most part but aiming is def off. I'd be okay with that if the archer(who we play) would pull back the next arrow quicker. By time the 10th or so board comes, you can't miss more than a handful of shots........if you try to kill a specific target and miss twice, your screwed b/c he's already through the gates.

Great Game! Love bow and arrow games and this one is challenging and fun!
I do Have a suggestion With the crossbow when it is reloading it would be nice to be able to use archers, catapult etc during the loading time.

sorry the game is great... i guess but it lags whenever i zoomin after shooting/about to shoot. why is that? thats the only problem

Well i just restarted a couple of times. To get the aim right and try different strategies, to see what worked me best. For now First two rounds flawless. 5 headshots

I find the heavy crossbow to be the most effective throughout the game. Combined with an AP arrow and bow upgrades, you got yourself a powerful bow. Add on the archers/catapult backup, most of the time you won't go down to more than 85%.
I tend to focus on the larger guys first if there are, e.g. explosive carts, rams before taking out the smaller guys.

Some additions for the next game:
1 Melee defenders: It makes no sense that there would be no one able to pick up a sword to help defend the town.
2 Chance for Morale to play a part. In addition to wall hit points, you would have to win victories to keep the town's morale up and keep them from surrendering.
3 Training session please!

The bow physics in this game is very realistic. This is the first of its kind in a flash game to achieve realistic archery in combat situations. Back then it would of been much harder..this is actually easy so stop complaining

Would be great to have different notification sounds for each ability when the cool-off is done rather then one sound for all.

Transition from personal weapon to area weapons has a delay. This is clunky and causes issues with quick target acquisition. It would make sense if ordering area fire to not even impede your own use of personal weapons, let alone cause the issues it currently does.
