Music doesn't start on by default, despite the main menu saying "music is on". You have to click it twice to turn it off and back on again for it to work.

It's a good game. I do agree though that (i) the 'ironic' breasts are a bit much and make the game tasteless when it doesn't need to be, and (ii) some levels could do with more than one checkpoint; it's annoying to have to redo a puzzle you've already solved because you screw up the next one.

If you think there are too few checkpoints, get better at platforming. Every frame window is massive and the timings are all super forgiving. Every threat is clearly presented before you get to it. You died because you failed to execute some really basic jumps.

It is a really cool game with awesome musics. In this kind of game the music is usually the same in every levels and very repetitive, but not in this one. Good job !!

So, minor bug on Blockade, you can push blocks in midair, so you can easily accidentally soft-lock yourself if you push the block at the first save checkpoint left

Ignoring the non-sense and whiny comments, how about we compare this to some of the classics? Honestly speaking, this game isn't all that different from the original Super Mario Bros. In terms of difficulty, I'd say this is probably easier than most of the classics. Especially when compared to Doki Doki Panic. Uh, I mean, Super Mario Bros. 2.
Seriously everyone, if you're having problems with this just go back to the classics for a few days then come back to this. You'll enjoy a leisurely stroll through the game and find it much more enjoyable. This was classic platforming folks, and you just don't see games like this very often anymore. Brought back some good memories of raging about those vile masks from Super Mario Bros. 2, as well as some of the more interesting levels from 3 (I'm looking at you Pipe World.)

Why does it look why they are smuggling pointy loaves of bread in their shirt? Are they falling at high speed to the left? Does gravity work randomly in there?
If the art is that laughably bad, it makes you wonder if the programming is equally bad? How many people won't bother to play if the first comments mention overlooking simple things like a 'no music' toggle or checkpoints?

Nice music, nice game... can't wait for part 2.
If anyone seriously NEEDS more checkpoints then perhaps this style of game does not suit you. Its meant to be hard.
Perhaps the next one will feature an anime man with a large... personality. Who knows.

This is a really solid game. The secret walls don't really seem to add anything though, except for the annoyance of finding them.

Good puzzle design, but your rather buxom depiction of a woman is both anatomically incorrect and rather childish. It detracted from the game for me.

Thanks to KingDrake_'s comment, I was able to make a playlist with all the game's tracks. Here's the link:

It seems counter-intuitive that dying and returning to a checkpoint does not reset the game to the state it was when you passed the checkpoint. For example, if you collect the key but die before reaching the door, you will still have the key when you hit the checkpoint. Similarly, if you've accidentally pushed a block over the cliff (blockade level) instead of in the proper direction, the block stays over the cliff instead of being returned to its original location. Otherwise, it was a good game with a variety of challenges to conquer.

Maybe not waste all your time on the menu art and instead improve that run animation. At least I can see why she doesn't have knees, probably blew them out carrying that weight around.

On the last level, even though the flame was green/gold, if you try to walk through the last part of it, you die. Was still able to complete the game by just jumping through it instead.

Short and fun plat-former, reminded me of a mix of Zelda and Mario. Could benefit from a level select. Overall, good game!

I'm preaching to the choir here, but figure out how to put multiple checkpoints in a level. Some kind of save would also be nice.

I'd really hate to be a platformer hero lugging around that chest. You'd be liable to knock yourself unconscious on the first serious jump.

Great game, I personally thought that one or two more savepoints in the game would've been nice, but it wasn't too hard. I found it a little bit weird how big her breasts were, you are telling a story about a woman trying to save her father, it isn't really fitting the narrative. I gave 5/5 stars, honestly I should've given it 6 ;)

Add some sort of death animation. This isn't necessary, but it would look a lot more professional, of higher quality.
