My review : Kaleid is a game, with beautiful art and graphics every day.You can make kaleidoscopic images, then post it for the world to see. It's like watching a virtual kaleidoscope.Free Play is a moving animation. When you add shapes, you see like you turn the kaleidoscope making beautiful patterns.Kaleid is the first Kaleidoscopic twist puzzle game, with Newest submissions. We always love Kaleid due to a lack of beauty, containing great levels like "Staring Eye" and "Chicomexochtli." 2 favorite levels.People may not get their levels rated, but could learn about the experience.

I think there should be a 'pause' button at the 'free play. It would also be fun to be able to create a 'moving' level (like freeplay but then 'rebuild the animation'). I also think there should be an option 'overlay current configuration to the left', so you can see where your image differs from the level.

Soothing music, interesting and realistic representation of a kaleidoscope, with a reasonably good interface. It does, however get tedious at time, and I wasn't particularly inspired to complete all the puzzles, so 4/5.

on level 12 i did it and it looked exactly the same and i didnt finish and i pressed hint and it said put a green diamond here and when i did it made no difference but i finished level
WTH?!?

This game is a little too particular about exactly how you set up the shapes...If it's possible to make the exact same picture, but with the shapes in slightly different places (or without certain shapes entirely), I should not have to click hint to see what's wrong...3/5

Congratulations on the game, bet you didn't think it would get the full force of the colour blind community on you...

The biggest issue I see with this game is that is does not recognize solutions have the time. Quite often, I am forced to replay a level 3 or 4 times before it recognizes the solution.

The hint button is overpower! I want a hint of the level, and not how all the level was made. Change the number of pieces that he shows. I think 1 or 2 pieces good. I think this change would made the game a bit "harder" and fun for player. Btw, awesome game.

@spyluis:
there are more than just 2 types of color blind and daltonism is only one of those types. there are 3 main types and sub-types of each. the three main types are red-green color blind, blue-yellow color blind, and total color blind. within those there is monochromacy, dichromacy and trichromacy.
daltonism is actually deuteranopia which is a form of red-green color blind.

I like the free mode where you just put a lot of random stuff and it really cool

You've got something here. It's not a game, but it's art. The puzzling elements don't really take any time at all, the only thing I'd improve is the amount of levels and the matching system, since it's annoying to have it and it won't count.

@AdmiralAwesome There are 2 different types of daltonism(being color blind), Type1:those who confuse some primary with secondary colors( blue with green by example) and Type2(rare):those who can truly only see black and white.

I like this a lot. It would be a lot less frustrating if you had it recognize based off image you're going for versus image you get, and not shapes. I've made several of the answers with items in different places or not even using items you had for the answer.

Another minor gripe here about level 12. Why does it take two green squares instead of one? (Also why did one comment on level 12 get voted up while the other one went down? :P)
Anyway, I had fun with this. Nice job.

great puzzle game! Only thing that i notice that is a little aggravating is that some of the levels can be solved a few different ways.

If you put any shapes on the board while making one to share, even if you put it down on the board, it has to be used to recreate it. If you don't use a piece, please throw it away instead of trying to put it back over the shape at the bottom.

Honestly a great game, but the Hint button kind of takes away from the channelenge. Ya i did most of them by my mind, but ones where you need 2 of the same thing in the same place are redundant and not useful but annyoing. Again, wonderful game, very puzzeling and fun but that hint button makes it easy at every level.

Game idea is ok, but it can be rather frustrating when you recreate something that looks or is very similar to what you're supposed to make, and subtle color changes, unnecessary duplicities or incorrect placement keep you from progressing. After a certain point you just sit there hitting the hint button, hoping you can spot what the game thinks is wrong.

Quite a clever game. Very different than the other puzzle games on here. It is a great way to kill some time while giving your brain some exercise.

Great concept! It would be great to be able to save free play levels as well (it's nice just to see how the pattern changes with light rotation)
