Perhaps I am just spoiled by other games? But I wanted to be spending those coins on upgrades! Even purely cosmetic ones.
In the iPhone game the coins are what you use to unlock levels. So you can pass all levels, but you need X coins to unlock the next world, which adds a lot of replay value :) Here they're just in to make you feel better. We played around a lot with the idea of upgrades and in the current concept they wouldn't make much sense and would need a completely different level design. We did make cosmetic changes to the robots, but they all behave the same way since the core gameplay is about getting from point A to B by timing your touch event.

The gravity and friction mechanics don't make sense. I get that you wanted to make it easier for everyone by making him roll slowly down hills, but it doesn't feel right and actually makes the game mechanics feel tedious and sluggish. It'd be a great game otherwise.
In the iPhone game we were able to nail that friction/gravity feeling. But that uses a different physics engine. In Flash this is as best as we could make it. It sometimes feels weird, but as you said, it makes it more accessible to other people.

Great game. Yes, the light gravity and heavy friction did detract a bit, but not much. It was also a bit too easy, but still challenging at times and not so easy that it was ever boring. It was also a bit too short, but at least you know someone enjoyed your game if they make that complaint. Still, despite those minor complaints it's an easy 5/5.
