Beat it. Creepy, and I didn't see any bugs. 5/5 stars for being a working game that isn't an idle.
haha thanks a lot for the kind words and review, it really helps :)

The firelight mechanic in this game is just bad. The light at most only see a radius of 3 squares which is just not enough. If you want the player to feel scared just focus more on the visual elements instead of introducing elements that hinder movement. In fact a lot of horror games just do not understand this. There are commercial products that make people's control not responsive or camera angle clunky for the sake of "horror".

Love the game, got stuck with 5/7 letters. Need a text walkthrough or maybe a hint system personally.
Will be adding a few hints as well as more documents to explain the backstory soon, will also do a video walk-through for any one that needs it. Thanks a lot for playing :)

I finally managed to find all 7 letters and get out but I'm still a little lost with the story. I found several journal pages but I don't think it was all of them. I'd love some sort of tracker for journal pages found too. It would also be nice to be able to pick them up and revisit them once you find more pieces of the story and be able to compare the dates on them. Other than that, I very much enjoyed it. Even in daylight I had a sense of foreboding as her match dwindled and there were footsteps around the corner. Well done.

Checkpoints would be a nice addition. One mistake and you need to start all over again.
