Nice game, just needs a mini-map that shows where you have been.

1) Minimap with indication of locked chests and exits/enters;
2) Description of goodies in the shop. I got the neclace for 10 points acting blindly, and it gave me a boost to ALL stats.
3) Warrior is unplayable at lower (higher?) levels, since there are MANY ranged enemies that kill him despite all frenzied dodging. On the other hand, the mage is OP as hell, i breezed through the 15+ levels and got killed simply because I got bored and reckless.
4) Lore is limited to 40 pages, all extra pieces give you 0 new actual information. It would be good if all lore after 40 will give you EXP or gold. Otherwise, there is no sence of accomplishment in getting these lore pieces.
5) Mouse controls for turning and attacking is in order! I am OK with WASD/arrow movement, but with tons of hard enemies on lower (higher) floors it becomes too dangerous...

So... I give the game a 3 so far, it has great potential if the devs decide to invest more time to it. Thank you for making a non-idle project in the current idle-crap-filled meta!
Thanks for the detailed feedback: very helpful. I'll give you a quick run-down of what I have in the works. 1) I am now in the process of adding a mini-map. 2) Description of items is easy, next build should have it (and yeah, the necklace is the best item by far right now). 3) I agree, Mage is OP, Warrior is weak at higher levels; not sure yet on a fix for this, but looking into it. 4) More Lore is on the way! I am hoping to write enough eventually that you will basically never get to all of it in a single play through. Also, Lore currently does give points and XP â maybe I need a better signal of this... Also, I am planning to add some new content (and maybe a kind of terminus) that opens up once you reach a deep enough level of the dungeon, so that could help keep things fresh. 5) I'll look into mouse controls; I ought to be able to come up with something (but currently the other items are higher on my list of priorities). Cheers!

Good idea, enjoyed seeing the allegory of the cave stuff. Other than the minimap, the only thing I would really like is an end. Is there one? After 10 levels and 30 or so lore pieces, it was starting to get repetitive, but I see that somebody made it to 19!
As of now, there is no end point: you just go as far as you can until you die. But I am currently working on a "Terminus" of sorts. I'll keep you posted! Update: Terminus added :)
