Description
Potato The Destroyer is a challenging minimalistic action platformer where you play as a potato hell-bent on making his minimalistic world even more minimal by defeating The Crystal Potato of Destiny, the true embodiment of non-minimalism.
This was made from scratch in two days "for Ludum Dare 26.":http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-26/?action=preview&uid=3043 This is the post-competition version which includes an easier difficulty mode, a basic game introduction and a few other things.
This was my first time participating in Ludum Dare. Although I'm a little disappointed in myself for not fully embracing the theme (minimalism), I think this turned out to be a pretty cool game. I learned a lot about level design and what goals are and are not attainable in such a strict time period. I planned a lot more content but just couldn't do it in time. Like, I had these desert tiles, this desert song and this enemy that all went unused.

here are some tips :
1) always fire bullets ahead you will probably land in sme early hits before the enemies start firing back. 2) If you take damage , run back tot the nearest Checkpoint and you'll be restored to full health. 3) when battling the boss you stay at the edges because you can just jump and avoid the green slime and they'll fall off and you can keep on focusing on the boss. + if you think this is helpful
