Iyankyj, what is your workbench level? If it's not 15 (or 15 page of gears), then use Canns to upgrade workbench level to make better gears. Use Canns to buy mats from Wasteland to upgrade your workbench. I am currently stuck on Wasteland 8. I am just waiting for next Campaign to be release and then I will use Canns to upgrade workbench to match the new campaign. I am hoarding 5000 energy and 2600+ Canns for that day.

With enough armor one can pass even the last lab level easily with 3 stars. Mine is over 300, damage over 1k. Maxed hero upgrades at the moment are damage +845, health +4175, accuracy +650. Takes a few years to get without paying any Kreds and this game is definitely not worth paying. It's basically a waste of time without much enjoyment or rewards. The translations to English are made one word at a time resulting sometimes nonsensical descriptions and phrases. Improved skin doesn't improve your skin, they just don't know the difference from leather. I wonder how spores are normally taken and what is considered an 'anomalous way' of taking them. And where are they taken anyway... Does anyone know how a cast iron spike may be injured?

I have dmg 779 (686 is from upgrade), 2575 HP (1755 from upgrade), accurary 465 (340 from upgrade). Yeah, daily routine is to grind for the workshop items and upgrade, it's just very-very slow and gonna be curious how many powerful I can become to deal with the rest of the champaign.

@lyankyj: Level isn't important, what counts are your hero upgrades, mainly damage and health. Accuracy to the point that you have 100% chance to hit opponents. What level workshop and equipment you use? Much of the grinding is to get things to upgrade your workshop, then it's grinding to get things to craft better armor and weapon, then make more of the same and upgrade said armor and weapon to highest Mark, usually Mk IV.
Modifications aren't very useful. I have some old level 10-12 workshop gear left that could be modified, not sure if lower level gear could. To modify you need things to add on your equipment. For example the Iron clot belt could be modified with a pouch, clasp, lining or plate, all of these come at different levels and types, such as marauder's pouch or hobo pouch, rusty metal plate or spiked round plate, etc. Better wait to upgrade only the mark 4 item, you lose mods on gear when you upgrade it unless you pay canns to remove the mods and install them again.

I am max level, but I think a lot of featues are simply not opened for me. I only have the same 3 skills since middle of the game, the modification part of the workbench is completely unused, there are items that should fit into some kind of additional concept which I know nothing about.
I am max level, but I am not strong enough to past through Lab13... seems like half of the game was not introduced to me and thus I am way too lowlvl for certain stuff.

My guess high sweep score takes well developed cone shot to one-shot normal zombies during the entire sweep. Of course maxed gear doesn't hurt. Never seen high level zombie miss a 500+ damage hit.
Beware or be aware: the devs still reset Battle pass task timers at will. 7 day tasks may suddenly lose most of the time remaining, same with 3 day timers. So spend energy, resources and time to do a task then see it change before you can finish because they suddenly shortened the available time. Not sure if it's incompetence or simple malice. With Russian devs both are likely.

New artifact damage seems to work normally. Only when zombies miss it doesn't work even though the bleeding effect transfers from zombies that miss. It has one extra advantage: it helps locate enemies that shoot from outside visibility range. It's easier to see where the -3 or -5 appear than to guess the location based on the direction of shots. Events are still incredibly boring and it takes ages to kill up to hundreds of zombies and to get the full rewards it must be repeated over and over.

The new artifact damage stopped working against some zombies. And even that is not consistent. Part of the zombies take damage when they attack, others will not. Not sure if they are deliberately nerfing it or what. I guess it's as reliable as anything in this game. A solid one star quality.

@v8hadas I think the only requirement is 11 strength, 7 dexterity, 5 perception, military training 1, and critical damage

@Tandu: Thanx, I appreciate that. I have not upgraded that particular skill yet (always found it weak and kinda useless), so that makes sense. And you're right about the lack of info, it's unreal. I was very surprised to find no wiki game page for it! Anyway, I've figured out most of it on my own. Just kinda playing it casual, and building up strength & stats. I do wish there was more info available on the suits though. I started collecting the green Varan suit, and then upgraded my workshop to level 9. The CPG Wanderer suit looks pretty good as well, and less to upgrade from what I can tell. Decisions, decisions...

@SockandBuskin7: Go to [Hero], select [Upgrades] from the top. You see first Damage, Health, Accuracy, which need only ammunition to upgrade. Below them are your special attacks, depending on your level and progress they are Cone attack, Target shot and Penetration. On top of the icons you see a white number indicating the level of these attacks. Click on an icon such as Cone attack and you should see how many tokens it takes to upgrade. It shows option to use canns instead of tokens but don't waste canns. Upgrade cost increases with the level of the skill. If you don't see a skill (such as Penetration) listed you may need to advance your research which needs research points that you get by killing the boss. Check on the Discord channel if you need more info, this game has almost no instructions.

Does anyone know how to use the tokens obtained in arena to upgrade the fighter?!? I have looked everywhere, and cannot find any info on this. I've got over 3,000 in the warehouse, just itching to be spent!

The newest Kongregate layout makes this game perform so poorly it's a pain to play (even more than usual). I hate the stupid game ads on the right that can't be turned off. Animated distractions of games that often no longer work at all that seem to cause inexplicably large performance penalties. This may be the final succesful suicide attempt of Kongregate. Drive away the last players by making everything much worse. Upvote if you hate the new layout, downvote if you like it.

Please put the timer for the DAILY BONUS above the CANNS like the Sale timers are. It's hard to see sometimes against the color of the CANNS in the background.

Yo Kongregate! The update to UI is quite unintuitive and makes it more difficult to access things like achievements and recent comments. Colors look kind nice but I don't feel it embodies the brand.

I know I really shouldn't be leaving a review/comment when I'm not even out of the first 15 levels yet, but this is still a pretty cool game. Only complaint is that is slows down heavily at LVL 11, which is pretty annoying as that's not really even out of the tutorial yet.

I don't understand why you don't rebalance the game since you're still updating it in 2025. It's a huge unbearable grind with no story. Way too slow, just playing it for the badges.

@SockandBuskin7 and @gen2bruin Support doesn't work for me as the form kept asking me to change email address, changed it a few times to no avail. And I can't submit the support form simply due to it asking me to change email. It is severely bugged for some.

pvp has been a mess... we get atacked 2-4 times a day only and often we see these guys with impossible pontuation, why does it happen? are these guys hackers? id love to see the pvp receiving some atention, by now we should already have a bigger variety of pontuations and prizes for rankings

@gen2bruin, Support works. I used it for the first 3 badges each time, and they were awarded within a day. I'm still working on my last badge, and will message them again for that one. If you aren't on Discord, some games aren't automatic with the badges. I've had it happen on numerous games, and support worked each time I requested the badge. Just make sure you include a screenshot of the game, showing proof that you earned the badge, and they will award it. Cheers.

The whole game is timers. 2 real life hours to feed a dog. Extremely P2W. Don't waste your time with this haphazardly thrown together Skinner Box.
