Great game! The wordplay was certainly the highlight but I also liked Algie's weird wide-eyed smirk throughout. The only bummer is I was unable to complete the game because my farthing count started at 10 and each time I collected one, it actually subtracted from my total, so I couldn't ever afford the delicious delicious rat burger.

Hi all, devs here--this game was made in a week for the Kongregate Game Jam, so there are a few bugs and unfinished art. When judging on the jam is concluded, we will update the game to make it better :)

Can't seem to get the signature for the Sword of Suckers. Maybe I did something wrong :/

One bug that I found - if you talk with the old chess guy BEFORE taking the king and ask him for amber, he will act as if you returned the stolen king and sign a parchment for you. But to save the king you need to take it anyway and then you can't return it to the old guy and it blocks your sword or plastic sword, if you already have it.
Fixed! Thank you for finding this bug.
