The file will still be called names.sol and a new one will still be created when you create a new character, enabling you to find both locations if you search your entire drive.

If you can´t find your saves just read the Instructions shown to the right. It fixes everything. And as Abra said before. The problem is not from his side.. it´s from Kongregate. The save files are saved under the wrong folder. Find them, copy them to the right folder and play on. NO character is missing.. they are just missplaced. Just check every APPData map you have if you have more. I had 3 different ones I had to check before I found the correct one.

Had two lvl 40 accounts and are both now mysteriously missing. How about you fix the problem instead of making us find the files ourselves? Great game though, except for the save problem.

so when you buy the 5000 bag slot, before leaving the shop there is an option to buy a 25000 bag slot. when you come back its gone. what happens if you buy that bag slot?
great, glad you found them. This is very frustrating, I have no control over this issue and for some that aren't that tech savy they won't be able to find them and fix it.

Lost my saves, was about to clear Kel-thuzad... Heirloom weapons were so close, now it's starting it all over again:/
kongregate issue causes names.sol to be in the wrong place, issues with the game or flash cause names.sol to be there but it is corrupt and cannot be read, if the file is really no where you, you're browser or your anti-virus deleted it.

My saves have now moved from assets.kongregate.com to chat.kongregate.com, back to assets and now back to chat. Keep an eye on your characters level and save file modification dates when you load the game and copy/move the files as required
This is a confirmed issue Kongregate is looking into and it effects several games. Sorry guys. Just keep an eye on the actual files in the locations mfst suggests here.

The game needs a quit button, so you dont have to refresh all when selecting other character.
Also there is a bug that asks you to discard the item you want to equip, and you have to refresh the entire game tos olve it

Abra, buddy, you really need to fix the save situation here....everytime I close the browser or switch games while on kong my saves disappear now. I only have two saves, and Ive restored them twice now. I dont play this game with multiple characters going at one time so I am not entirely sure what the problems is. Even after I manually save it to try to make sure it doesnt happen,...it still happens. Please address this if you can.
I can't address it because I can't reproduce it. Less than .1% of the people playing have this issue and the fact it happens repeatedly to the same people means it's something about your system, or rather a combination of OS/browser/settings/anti-virus it could be a million things. If you're willing and have time I'm trying to gather as much info from the people it does happen to as possible. Message me and let me know your exact situation and I'll follow up with some more questions. Thanks!

the best thing that we could add would be the type of weapons we want to keep as loot, for example, i dont care about int staffs and hammers, i only need agi weapons, so when i go afk and come back to int, str weapons, i feel like ive wasted a few hours of stuff that couldve been interresting
This would indeed make it easier to get what you want. Way easier. Trivial. So you will always have best in slot gear. I don't think that's more fun or interesting.

Rated this game 5/5. I haven't completed it yet but I think that you could probably balance it a little better. Some classes are clearly superior to others.

For those who lost their save files, mfst has the right solution. I found my save files were in the Grindquest folder in assets.kongregate.com folder, just had to move them to the chat.kongregate.com folder and everything was fixed.
Nothing has changed from my end so Kong must have changed something around. This doesn't seem to have effected everyone but for those it did, thanks for the info.

Man, I keep losing my saved files. Probably a browser thing yeah, but it sucks because of that.
Might I suggest an import/export save thing? That way it's not stuck to the browser and people don't have to worry about their game being deleted when their cookies or whatever are.

A couple of bugs: 1. level 86+ superior items seem to have the stats of epic items of the respective level 2. quests in 86-90 zones make you fight only level 85 mobs
