I understand, moving saves everytime you refresh makes it just not worth it to play. I've created a character of different classes on both sides now, so that no matter which one comes up I have something to play. For those that aren't interested in that, I'll send a message to all recent players once Kong has this sorted out if you want to take a break.

I have the exact same problem than MalignantMind :
- lost my save
- followed the steps (assets -> chat)
- it worked
- next day : no progress saved
- wiped "assets.kongregate.com\gamez\0017\4845\live" and "chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0017\4845\live" folders clean
- created a new character
- result : new "wowbars.swf" created in the "assets.kongregate.com\gamez\0017\4845\live" folder, nothing in the "chat.kongregate.com\gamez\0017\4845\live" one

I've checked and double checked, it keeps saving in the assets.kongregate folder. Which is where I have my original character. It's not saving over the original, either. I'm using a different save slot, so the character file is different.I'm so confused T.T

So, I lost my save the other day, followed the steps, and it worked perfectly again. This morning, it happened again. I followed the steps, and it's still saving to the same location, but it's not reading my original saves. What do?
That can't be, make a new character and save it and see where it goes, it must go somewhere else or it would have to save it over your real saves and it won't or it would have loaded them for sure.

Some talents have typos, so you don't easily know if they affect one or all enemies. For instance, Warlock's Corruption affects "his enemY" and then "THEY take 1%". Does it affect one or several enemies?
It seems to be switching back and forth depending on what kongregate domain (chat or assets) the game happens to load up on. I've just made a char of a different class on both as have a few others I've talked to. Which ever one comes up after a refresh is the one I play...it's so stupid, but its a way to avoid moving chars. If you do this make sure to use a different slot if you want to be able to merge the chars after kongregate sorts out whatever the hell this problem is.

Here are the strategy tips I've figured out: 1) When grinding, you can get the most gold from "Common" and "Crafting" items, because they can stack in your inventory, while the rare items cannot. 200 common items is worth more than 4 swords. 2) Different talents are more effective for grinding and for dungeons. So, reset your talents to optimize them for whatever task you're about to do. 3) Healing talents can help you grind faster by reducing the amount of time you spend resting.

Thank you Abra, I was on Chrome 27 under Windows 7 and I had to move the files from assets.kongregate.com to chat.kongregate.com to fix the savefile issue.

the IMBA achievement is not registering properly. Killed plenty of low level monsters with 1 hit but its not giving the achievement. Abra?

Today i lost my saves, so i did what the instructions say- i found both folders and i placed my old saves i the new folder. Now i can play my old char, but i can no more save manually. Is it because i replaced "names.sol" as well or there is something else wrong? Please help!
I'm glad you found your saves, I'm not sure what you mean by not being able to save manually. When that button is clicked it will save your data to where ever it was loaded from.

@shalk that "bug" you're talking about is because there is something wrong with your CTRL key. if the CTRL key is depressed when you click an item, it asks if you want to discard it

Lol.. so apparently.. I started off with a night elf paladin then when i had to restart my computer i came to find out my character was gone.. so i made a new one.. a human paladin -cough- anyways they were both the same name too made in the same slot, now.. after some time my human paladin had gotten close to where my night elf was in lvls.. then my browser crashed D: anyways.. when i loaded the game up again~ tah dah~ night elf paladin back~ -me: what the frik- so.. i was like.. alright then.. i'll just start playing on it again w/e THEN i accidentally hit the refresh button without thinking and i was like.. derp.. and guess what~ human paladin back~ >w>.. GrindQuest logic..

Abra24, you should reduce the font size of the race/class name in the lower right of the screen so that "Undead, Death Knight" will fit in the space provided. This would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I also lost my save today, been playing it days (maybe over a week?) and I was approaching level 70 :( I really hope you can restore our saves, I know it's an idle game but I feel gutted :(

Can you make it so you can cancel travel because it's really annying when i go to craft some armour and accidentally start travelling to the market.

I just played for 10 days and lost my data. I didnt even clear cache or recent history. The information under instructions did not fix the problem. Is there anything I can do? I was level 83

Maybe I'm just slow, but is there any particular reason why you can't return quests unless you're on quest mode? I ask because a lot of the time when I'm finishing the last quest in a zone, I want to move to another zone, but in order to return the quest I'm basically forced to begin fighting something else immediately after since that's what quest mode does. Minor point, but yeah.

Since there are mounts, I can live with the travel time, but at least make the crafting window separate from travel locations(market).

I think you should be able to interrupt travelling or make it instant. It is an idle game, so why make a loading bar just for travelling?

This is a good way to transfer you char from one pc to another, i was playing on another pc, now i got mine pc back and char too! Thx abra! ;)
