I beat the game in half a second! I mean.. I didn't save any puppies... Infact, I didn't intend to beat it at all. I was just curious what the down button did :)

I dident know what would happen, so after starting a new game, I got inside the ship and flew off. Wish the game told you it will be bad. :)

The dog's name is laika? Yeah, wasn't "laika" the name of the dog that the russians sent into space...the one who they claimed they euthanized via poisoned food, but that it actually turned out died horribly when the temperature control in the ship malfunctioned and the temp inside soared to over 105 degrees, leaving the dog 7 hours of stress and overheating before its body finally mercifully shut down?

ah, so we're not supposed to be able to land on that ledge near the upper right corner? sorry, i broke it when i did just that and then jumped out of the game border. now i'm perpetually falling in black space.

I liked this game better than metroid itself. No shooting orgies, small timing puzzles and a lot of logic packed into a neta platformer. More like this, plz!

I agree with Cevgar that this isn't a real metroidvania game, I think that most metroidvania fans might find this a nice quick game up their alley. To be a genuine metroidvania you would need some collectible upgrades that expand where can travel on the map, which this doesn't have, but I don't feel that this game would be improved by their arbitrary addition.

How do you get the puppy at the center of the map?? The hint says that enemies can be killed by lasers, but it doesn't say how to get the laser down to the enemy! I feel like i'm trying to solve a Rubix Cube here :P

....and then the kitten manages to trap itself, waiting to be saved by anything, loved by anyone. Even a robot. Sorry, I left my prequel on.
