I think armor just cuts down enemy attacks by your defense value, like 500 attack - 300 defense = 200 total damage. not sure about that though

How does armor/defense work? If I have 1000 defense and the monster has 500 attack what happens? 1500 attack? Do monsters have attack values?

I have been playing for around 5 hours now, and I still can't beat it. It is mainly an amazing game with an even better concept, I just wish it would be a little less repetitive. In all, this is a game that was well worth playing for 5 hours. Also, please add a save file to the game, unless there already is one and my computer just isn't working right. 5/5 stars!

Beat it at level 35...having fun in the Void area...the last Boss is a PITA lol. Don't waste points in Magic, as your Helm (and rings if you wish) add a hell of a lot more then any other stat. Best going 50/50 Str/Def until you clear the game, then dump as much as you can into Strength since high level shields also give insane amount of Defense...and the negation above 4500 value is untested/unproven for diminishing returns

That's a very nice and entertaining game! I love its calm and peaceful visuals and music, as well as its simplicity. I just wish its late game was a bit longer. Having more equipments, items and monster would be great. But, for what it is, it's good enough! I give it a 5/5 :) Nice job, dev! Hope to see more from you in the future :)

The beauty of this game is it abstracts away from the unnecessary elements of rpg and strategy game, and ends up having a fun and intuitive game. That being said I m only going to vote 4/5. Sure the game is strategical but half of it is still build upon a simple skinner box mechanic. The short duration of the game and the omission of details of the protagonist simply do not provide immersion. I feel like this cannot be compared to more polished skinner-box game like enchanted cave 2 or rpg that has an actual story like epic battle fantasy 4 etc, or truly strategical games like kingdom frontier series. The game is good but I m not going to cater to the masses and praise this game to the level that it does not deserve.

i already played this game like 10 times in different ways - normally, only attack, only defense, only magic, magic+attack, defense+magic, attack+defense, no stat boost, i demand more content <3

ANother hopeless POS game designer who thinks crappy music is good for a game. If you make a game you NEED to have separate on off options for sound effects and music. I lasted about 20 seconds before this shithouse hippy elevator noise made me cut my goddam ears off. ONE star

stats do not max out at 99,999,Im up to 110,000 magic now lol. Red Dragons still cannot be one shotted by fireballs yet.

It freezes every time I use skill points and then try to rest. I have to refresh the page and then my only option is to start over, no way to continue.

what is the trick for the fortress? Im lvl 40 and cant seem to kill more than 6 per day. I understand to stay away from the super charged guys. It seems I randomly choose a tile and die in one hit, despite having full health

Honestly? if you made this on mobile with better graphics and some more addictive feature(idk like daily logins or some kind of stuff of the sorts) it would be an huge success imho
but better music because this stuff is unbearable ahah

The game is so good that even with no new content for a while it keeps making me come back and play for a few levels to try and get the last Legendary items I'm missing (sword and armor and both pots) even after being level 78... So, is there some trick to the item crafting? I tried saving rare and legendaries, and using same tier items, but without being able to see more than 6 items its really hard to test much...

i gotta say: i've come back to this game a bunch of times over the last few months. i'll start something else and then decide i'd rather play this. its so satisfying and simple. the loot mechanics are addictive but dont feel cheap or grindy (i think thats because the trade in is well calibrated so 1/3 or so of the tries gives you something stellar). the powers and all their upgrades are super satisfying. all the art is fantastic. i cant really say enough about how great this is. i'm willing to go as far as you're willing to take it and i'll give you as much money as you want for a fully fleshed out retail copy. potentially one of my all time favorite games on any platform. thanks for your hard work.

Nice little game, it progresses quickly enough to not feel like a grind, but provides enough challenge that you actually need to consider each move carefully.

Game is a bit bare bones--but very content heavy and i like it;; although on my chromium based browser Vivaldi the Bgm is just a bunch of random noises that aren't very interesting to listen to--in fact i would rather it just not be there, nearly didn't play :/
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
before I complete this game in 135 days. Now in 45 days. I have as well learned from it. Although, I wonder why the BGM is just plain lots of noises in Chrome but in Firefox it plays the actual BGM.

Nice rest feature also, very protective to the user. Glad this is on kongregate as well. The colors are soft and it does it a lot of good. Thanks merely for this as well.

New mechanics on a game such as this just is a wonder to the mind and lands a surprise that is conscious and pristine that would be memo-rated and satisfactory. Neat point of view...

Does what it sets out to do superlatively. I can't justify a perfect score, because what it sets out to do is unambitious, but I would be very interested to see your future work.
