I have beaten the main part of the story and found the game enjoyable, the graphics cards for the enemies are small but highly detailed, the gameplay is addicting, it involves a lot of thinking ahead in order to beat the levels, and runs very smoothly for a somewhat minimalist game, I decided to give this game 5 stars for being fun and unique in some ways.

I imagine at some point someone said, "We need a game where trash mobs you can't even reach can one shot you," and someone else said, "Yes. I'm going to make that happen." And now we have Monster Clearer. *slow clap*

Amazing grapics, effects, and fast paced action. Lots of depth and excitement in the story. I really like how you have to click on things and get stuff for clicking on things.

Trick to beat the final boss in the Twisting Void as a lower level:
Every time you get to the last level, the final boss will have random attributes. Sometimes it will be a spell-caster (no melee damage). It may take some time, but if you get lucky you can spawn the final boss, freeze any aggressive monsters, and then melee the boss without taking any damage until you win.
Thanks for the fun game! - I love the end reward (+20 points). It lets you replay and continue to upgrade basically forever until you are the ultimate OP player.

Worth noting the 6th area (I was Lv17) gives a buff that doubles future stat points invested. Also, skill points can be reassigned.

Great game. Third time starting over before finally getting the badge. It was worth it! I think a save function and a small story would polish off the rest of this game.

I LOVE both games made by this dev. Very simple games (ofc compared to other games) yet very very very entertaining. Excellent work.

Great. But please, tell explicitly at the start that your game is saved only when you rest. Some of my battles vanished because of this.

It blew my mind that I didn't have to buy the lower level skills prior to learning the higher level skills in the same row.
For example, you can buy the tier 1 defense, then tier 2 magic, then tier 3 attack.

Apparently it only took me an hour and 34 minutes. I could've sworn it was longer. Still, had a lot more fun with this than I first expected. It's a solid 4/5.

Interesting game, but needs a proper tutorial. I figured out you can use axes and spears after i passed half of the game, and i though they were just passive bonuses.

@SWMH: Purple enemies: Mages, deal massive damage when charged up.
Blue: Buffers, stay charged once charged, randomly triple the damage of certain units.
Yellow: Carry unique loot, like the magic scrolls.

Love this game, it's got quite a nice little polished strategy system. One little bug though: if you finish a battle on full health (possible with spells and axes and the like) then the game doesn't let you rest, even if your stamina isn't full (after you get the ability that starts you at full stamina) or you've used some of your spells. Not game breaking, just thought I'd give it a mention.

Regardless of how you build your hero (Stat point wise) your gear will make up for the deficit of points (For me, I put all my points into magic). The stats points eventually will just be there as an enhancer for your character. (I can melee kill the first two levels of the void) However, the perk that makes 60% of your magic count for your axe/spear is extremely useful for a mage build. Experiment and have fun :D

feels like every action rpg youve ever played, but turn-based!
Really well made, love to see more in this vein.
More monsters abilities and varied bosses are things to think about if you make a follow up. But I will certainly play it either way!
