agree, after you beat the 7 lessons, there should be a sandbox. all and all though, an elegant game. I usually prefer physics based game such as this one to others because they feel so realistic, and effing hail didn't disappoint... 4.5/5 but no halves, so 5/5. excellent work

like alot of other people have said the time limit is a little harsh and also this is a great game and having a sandbox mode would make it a lot better. also can you make the time limit a bit longer .

This is the only game I've played on kongregate where I'm pretty confident that the most negative criticism is ill conceived. Playing through the levels was fun and well-balanced. An elegant game.

As other have said, brilliant game, stylish and slick, but the extremely strict time limit makes it feel more like a poorly-implemented "demo mode" than a real game.

Another tip: Don't spend too much time trying to push a ball in a direction it doesn't want to go. Often, it's best to let a larger ball fall and break up into several smaller ones, then use the upward and lateral inertia of those to your advantage in getting them into orbit.

I way to get a lot of big hail pieces quick is right from the start shoot as many small hails out of the screen in the air. Try your best when the big ones hit shoot the left overs, keep as close as you can when blowing them up, they get bigger and hit TONS harder!

Great game. Yes, could use a sandbox mode, and possibly some more levels. Achievements could be cool too. Still, I give it a 5/5.
For anyone having difficulty at all, I find it best to not worry about focusing on one (or even a few) bits of hail, but just try to keep as many as you can "in orbit" for as long as they stay that way. (Keep them high, and wrapping around the screen left to right or right to left as fast as possible.) Whatever ones start to fall, let them. If you've done well, they'll be large enough (and moving fast enough, which seems to count for a bit too) to do some decent damage.

Loved it, but I don't like the time limit. Needs a sandbox mode, so you can take the time to make some really nice large hailstones. 4.5/5

Wahhh! The game's too hard! Ya know what people? Not all games are meant to be beaten in one try. Grow a pair and try again. There are many tricks that make the game pretty easy. The most important one is that you can actually push hail downwards, allowing it to reach high speeds very quickly and deal huge damage.

Okay, here's how you beat this game, including the balloons, for great justice. 1. To make really huge hail, find one decent-sized stone, and instead of pushing it all the way up, "juggle" it, so it stays at around one area, until it's as big as you desire. This is the most effective way to make 40+ m hail. 2. To get lots of big hail flying, make one or two decent-sized stones, like 25-30m, and let them fall to the ground, where it breaks it up into three. Send as many of those ones flying as possible, and presto, you have a lot of big effing hail! This will clear the balloons pretty quickly. If you like this, feel free to repost it.

wow thats stupid... got to 4th level first try then lost, wanted to redo but accidentally clicked main page cause they are so close, and what do you know? YOU HAvE TO RESTART you cant start from where you were, one wrong click and start over... 2/5 nice idea, just needs sandbox level screen (so what happened to me doenst happen) kong API a little variey and its a 5/5 for sure

I think kyle there is spot on. But, I'm a sucker for natural disaster games(?), so I'm giving it a 4/5. The timer made me a little mad, but it wasn't too bad. Made it a bit tough to destroy the world.

I agree it would be nice to have a sandbox level but it would also be nice if you could increase the winds power for bigger hail such as 45+ m hail, for it gets hard to lift into satellites

I concur with the general opinion here. Adding set of levels that require you to simply destroy without time limit would be nice, as well as a sandbox/free play mode. With that I would be very likely to give this game a 5/5. As it stands, 3/5 for creative idea.

JESUS! Can I configure the controls to hold down another key for the wind? Play this through and your arm hurts. How am I supposed to fap now?
