Great game! I just beat it on Medium. Here's how:
Keep Free Elections in your hand and start saving up for troops and popularity. Discard all other 3-cards to get these two resources.
If you get Trade agreement then hang on to it, but keep saving up. Make sure your Intel is above the limit so you can see the opponent's card.
After you play Free elections, go for Trade agreement. When you have played both of these, you can start beating back the enemy. Close his supply heads with the toll card, later destroy them with drone strikes.

Hmm. I just wasted Aerostat + precious resources because none of my hexes were in supply. I love the game, but there needs to be more feedback for these sorts of things...

Great game. I have a couple of questions that were not answered in the tutorial:
Is there a maximum range for a supply head for extending the loyal blue area via the development card? What is it? I think I have wasted a few cards this way.
Can the development card be used on a disabled supply head?
What happens if I build barricades around my capital - does this mean I can never lose?

Not bad...but if all the surviving, enemy supply heads are shut down with the Customs Officials card, shouldn't that be a player victory?

Wow! This one is *really* challenging. There's so many things to balance at once :D Yet again, you've captured the feel of the scenario perfectly. The player has almost no chance of winning or even surviving without foreign support, but putting enough resources together at the same time to *get* that support is a major headache, even with experience of earlier games. This game and Panzers and Paratroopers strongly remind me of SPI board wargames from the early '80s, which is about as high a recommendation as I can think of :) Yet again, 5/5 and favourited.

Maybe put up a warning when you try to play a card that wouldn't be able to resolve (example:playing a ground assault if you have no supply heads). That way you don't end up wasting already scarce resources. This one is super challenging. Good work!
