On secound thought, what is up with the randomness? Sometimes attacks do 1 damage, sometimes the same attacks do 75. Sometimes the enemy starts, sometimes I start, sometimes one gets a double move.

I like the battle system and how you can upgrade for your commander.
But the upgrade system is too complicated for the regular troops, because you have to do it for every single one.

This game is bullshit, i like the story but seriously it's extremely based on luck, also is the developer's favorite number 1? Because i get it a lot... like a LOT.

This shouldn't have the badge of the day. The balance of most things is way off. Shame because on a technical level it seems fine. Also needs a tutorial.

1 health unit can do as much damage as full stack... hmm. Also, turns should be fixed, random start, but after that fixed turns.

Guys, I agree with what most of you are saying, but just grab the badge, then try out the newer one... The dev even said this game had a bad damage system. The newer one is likely much better, since this was a first try from the looks of it.

NO AUTOSAVE??? You´re kidding me, I just lost a hell of a progress - Autosave after battles is a must. 2/5 cause apart of all the other complains it could be an entertaining game.

my hero's initiative is always maxed, yet the enemy forces always attack first, meaning if you have any weaker or new troops on your front line, they die, and any defense map where you start of surrounded becomes super difficult because all of your tank troops lose half their hp on the first turn. and abilities can be used only once per skirmish? better save that heal spell for when you are about to lose a troop. i like the permadeath, a troop gets wiped out you lose it, but combing it with all of the above and a horrible RNG makes even veteran strategy gamers like myself cringe

Yeah it's a pity, because apart from the ridiculous damage system this would be fun to play. And it truly is ridiculous, like upgraded elite warriors only doing 1 damage to bowmen XD

I never tire of repeating this to the devs: If you make the players read, give them the option to pick the reading speed. In other words let us turn pages (I could either read or look at the pictures). Thank you!

This type of game is not my cup of tea so thanks for making the easy badge take only 3 minutes to get. The tutorial not in-game is a very bad idea - that led me to conclude that most of the game would likely feel very old and not intuitive.

Annoying game... you could do well for the most part of a level, and then a random critter goblin gets to you commander and supercrits him.... and you lose the game. :(
And we don't care that the devs have made a new game, we're still playing this one... Maybe bad badges should be removed from kong after a few years ?

This reminds me of an old warhammer game I used to play on the grey station many moons ago. The random damage thing is annoying, and a bit mor eof a tutorial would help. I could find myself enjoying tis if it was ironed out a bit

Damage makes sense, but I can't figure out the upgrades. I want 2 attacks per turn - how do I get that? What's the pre-req? And how do the special abilities work? Maybe I should have done the tutorial, but the rest of it is easy to figure out - I'd rather be able to quickly skim a help screen, but there isn't one.

What the heck, this game seems to have no damned rhyme or reason to it. Damage varies immensely, I've already had times that I've attacked, it told me I critted or something, and no damage came up, and most importantly why the hell does one team just randomly out of the blue get to go twice rather than once? Why does this game have badges? It's so erratic, that removes, like, 99% of the strategy from it.

I really liked this game when it first came out and I still do. For me I found victories or losses were dependent on how I played not the game dynamics.

I don't like the fact that if you complete the primary objective and still have move left, the system won't let you complete the secondary. I also don't like not being able to replay campaign levels to finish secondary objectives.

Would be nice to see this game actually fixed instead of developer anouncing a new game on another site. Not fixing this one greatly reduces the score and lowers the chance of people going over to your site.

no wonder how this game got 3.74 rating. It's absolutely horrible. It's board games based from 90s but a way worse. I have completely no clue how crap game like this got badges. 1/5

I guess I better just play some dice over the table... just as random, but way less frustrating... way to mess with an otherwise awesome game with great potential. Make sure your next game is just as random, so you're guaranteed to have some more angry players out there.

\THE PROBLEM IS WHEN YOU COME TO THE PART OF THE MAP AND YOU CAN'T PASS IT YOU PROBABLY NEED A GREATER ARMY OR BETTER EQUITMENT YOU NEED A MONEY BUT YOU CAN'T EARN'T..SO I THINK THAT THE GAME CREATORS SHOUD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT.OTHERWISE THE GAME IS PERFECT AND REALY FANNY

i really liked this game to start with but with my units doing no more than 1 point of damage while they get wiped out and with three towns still to conquer I feel the game is a little unbalanced
