My mouse-clicking finger would appreciate it if there were keyboard equivalents of "rotate left" and "rotate right" on the tiles under the cursor. However, nice, relaxing puzzle, otherwise.

It's more time consuming than challenging, unlike loops of zen where you can often see yourself redoing whole parts of the puzzle due to one mistake on this one the mistakes barely go anywhere since you can just do the border first. The fact that the levels are randomized do add to replayability, but it kinda loses some of the charm of the handmade levels where you can have interesting patterns on purpose. I like it, but I'll take the loops of zen over this one anytime 3/5.

I wonder if it would be possible to write a generator algorithm to generate actually difficult puzzles... I need to try this.

Interesting behavior, when the puzzle is given to you solved or indeed with no blobs you still have to rotate a square before it is registered as done. try doing lots of level 1 puzzles if you don't believe me.

i know this isn't really an achievement game but i'm thinking of aiming for 100 times each puzzle, that might make for a curious achievement

Really neat twist on 'Loops.' I find it easiest to work around the figure with the edges, then move inside. And, as everyone else has said, lvl 16 is definitely the farthest thing from 'zen'! ;D

It is nice puzzles, however, there need a bit of flow in it. It feels a bit like extra levels. Might just be me, but if there was like a set of puzzles you needed to go through (still have these on the side). But ex, 1-3 each of the easiest, 1-2 each of the middle level, and 1 each of the hardest, and then make them slowly harder. And then have the game as it is now as a training thing or something, but add a mission.

Not bad, but ultimately, I don't feel that either the sequels or Blobs here match up to the original Loops of Zen. Certain easter eggs might be nice in this one, as a way to spice it up. For example, having higher levels randomly include puzzles shaped like Rorschach Test images or objects easily identified after completion will add a nice element of, "... Hey, that's that!"
