Please add a button to force a save, or at least some kind of indication of save status. I lost an entire day of play.
Hey there, the game auto saves every 10 seconds, but a manual save couldn't hurt, you're right. If this issue persists, make sure to export your save file whenever you close the game. I hope this helps :)

It's a 2-star game in any case, but something it definitely needs is mouse-over text. I have no idea what the nne-level increments do in the character levels, and other than the shop, the top row buttons have to be figured out experimentally-- including one which annoyingly & unexpectedly opens another browser tab.
That's a pretty good idea, I'll try to implement that :) In any case, the game is not as player friendly as it could be. I mean even the tutorial is outdated :D

Hm. It seems like letting go of the mouse-press at all over the cat makes it complain. It's not obvious from the instructions that the button should be pressed continuously, not let go following each stroke.

On your first prestige, go until 3b so you can afford two stopwatches, then to 4 to get two knots, then 8 to get your first ticket and a price reduction. Now get to 9 over and over, first get the second level of tickets then buy up all the single digit boosts. You'll be speeding well on your way to the medium badge by then!

Does anyone else have freezes when loading imports? It sometimes crashes unless the browser has JUST loaded. Using brave btw if that helps

Hey there, yeah, I think idling is not just about letting the game play itself, but turning it off to come back later and still having made the same progress. This changes when Automation is unlocked because I haven't been able to get it to work properly as of right now, but I will eventually :)

having to going into a menu to buy stuff which you then have to close to get back to the game is annoying. then even more so when you dont have enough karma so you have to leave, just time wasted entering and exiting this separate menu. or you want to check the price then you still have to go in again. more unnecessary opening and closing which soon becoming very annoying the more you do it.
it definitely is not better than how these type of games normally have a list of purchasables with their prices on display down the side. no opening nor closing of menus needed.
maybe there are autobuyers and things i haven't unlocked yet (i hope so) as i have just started today.
Hey there, yes, the start can be pretty tedious and unfriendly to new players, but you will unlock options that make the gameplay more convenient. After your first Prestige, there is an Upgrade that let's you hire all Cats and buy all Upgrades you can afford at the time. At the moment you will still need to open the shop to interact with this button, but I will add hotkeys in the future. I hope this helps and sorry for the inconvenience :)

It took me 3/4 day to raise 100 levels in Mewruto after update (sitting at 1M XP). With some test runs, I think the optimal pumping stat's ratio (currently) would be 1:1 for Agi (more enemies per second) and Int (more XP) giving that you have sufficient Str to 1-hit all mob (2-3 on elites)

How do you get the level 9 for each furriend title if you've already bought a building and its automatically training? Also nice dev! :D
Hey there, first off, thanks for the kind words :3 You could use the pause button at the top left the next time you prestige, then get all of your Furriends to level 9, so the Buildings don't generate any levels :D If this doesn't help, I was thinking of adding an option to turn off Buildings via a toggle.

I felt a little bit odd with my AS in Mewruto and did some research. One vital error with the Speed up (Jaguar): as you're using attack per second, spending points on it actually reduce the AS. If I reset and only put points in that skill, AS is reduced to 0.66/s from the base 1/s.

If you're going for the medium, after you get easy, buy the knots once. Then get two rounds of tickets (5 and 12) then get 12 again to level up knots twice in one go. This felt faster to me than lowering level cost, since the majority of your karma at this stage is the first 3 cats. From here alternate between cost, speed, and knots until tickets 3 (31) is the cheapest buy. The next run is the one that should get you to blessing, just leave it in the background for awhile exporting every 15 minutes
Hey there, that's some real good advice! Here's some more: at the top of your screen it should say "The Mewcomer" (if you haven't changed anything yet). This is actually a clickable button that leads to the Achievements and Ranks menu. There are certain Achievements that unlock Ranks, which can be activated to boost different parts of the game (i.e. Favor Gain or Cat efficiency). Make sure to check out the "Strategy" thread in the dedicated Discord channel to find out how to find the strongest Ranks :)

@shadree You need to reach 1B Karma collected. Your progress is shown on the bottom bar. Once the bar is full, click on it and take the "favor".

Hey there, I have no idea if this is a FireFox or a Unity issue. People have reported problems with FireFox, especially when it comes to saving progress. To counteract that there is an export/import function

With some testing, I found the cap of reduced time of CC and Workshop is 240D/40BD|ED (264D/44BD|ED with 3 Docs), Gym (3600D with 3 Soldiers), which can be used to optimal usage of idle disciples for Karma/s & faster training. But training is also capped at 8/min (23.2/min with Rank), so after passing the threshold of Karma/s, you're freely to assign your disciple without worry. I suggest a diminishing return instead of capping for training so idle disciple is always a thing to consider.

@Ta1nted after a few devotion, I can instantly gain blessing to max out the upgrade, then gift a few time to get buildings to around 63+ and let the game run by itself till next devotion. maybe the negative disciple is the reason? dev might look into it. But tbh I don't recommend devoting anything above Disciple. 50 B.D. is almost 4 days of training and it will hurt the overall process. Now I even hesitate to devote as I have purchased all that require Devoted and devotion will cost me 1 P.B.D/P.E.D to empower CC again

Don't know how everyone is doing it, but when I want blessings, I first use favored one to maximise my favor gain, then gifted one to maximise my gifts ascending and then blessed buddy, which almost doubles my total amount of blessings.
Found a bug in the later game, I devoted 100 Buffed disciples, when selecting amount of disciples to devote. I only had 50 buffed disciples (the + wasn't greyed out), did similarly for my educated disciples. Then I used my 1.6k devoted to buy upgrades and now I'm producing negative karma.

Thank you for your kind words :) I'll be working on Meowruto RPG a little more, adding more content and features. As for the main game, I should finish the Devotion stage soon and work on the next one. Maybe I'll also be adding another Minigame in the meantime. Some kind of "Wheel of Fortune"-styled game with Jimmy Feline as a host :D

Hey, I'm currently in the devotion part and I think I understand it but 2 things :
- What is impacted by the workshop ?
- When promoting disciples, as there is a percentage for success, if the promotion fails, do we lose the disciple?

Hey there, the Workshop increases the effect of your Cats' Upgrades (i.e. Kunai, Pyramid, etc.), so everytime it completes its cycle, the effects increase by 0.1% (base value, better with certain Upgrades). As for the Assessment Center, assigned Disciples are not lost, if they don't succeed, they just get unassigned and are idle until you give them another task. I was thinking of removing this feature. I hope this helps :)

@Iothil Automation works perfectly fine. If you want to unable it, just go in the "Automation Menu" in the settings (bottom right corner). It seems that Automation works by always buying the first available upgrade from top left to bottom right, which makes sense. Unable the automation if you want to upgrade specific features.
Explore the game to understand how it works before calling something "dumb automation crap" or "poorly designed".

To be precise, the priorisation seems skewed AF. Cleocatra next milestone is 120Q, upgrade is 127Q, and it will ALWAYS priorise upgrades for some dumb reason. So the ultimate outcome is that automation slows the game progress down. There should be a way to disable it.

So yeah, that dumb automation crap stops buying cats, eg. cleocatra stops at 72 and the damn thing won't let my buy any more manually and doesn't do so itself...this is really poorly designed.

automation is broken AF, since I bought it, I can't buy anything manually anmyore, including cats, despite having enough currency, and I can't turn of automation. Sad to see the game break over this.

I just randomly had Manny pop up to tell me something, but because I was clicking a lot (as you do in this game, if you want to be efficient), I clicked it away. I have no idea if he just taught me something? Or maybe some new feature opened up? There should be a way to read the last messages in chronological order. I know I can re-read info on blessing, favors, etc. but I don't know what topic he was talking about here. And "devotion" is just blank.

Am I missing something with Meowruto? I upgraded the entire skill tree and killed the boss in the first three zones but I can't seem to be able to unlock "Itchy island" and "Eerie Pond". Also, does this Meowruto RPH bring any kind of bonus?
Hey there, as of right now, only Stages 1 to 3 are accessible. I'll add more content in the future, when I get to it :) Also, version 0.4.2 finally added a bonus for playing it. Meowruto gets a Karma Gain boost depending on the total XP you've gained in Meowruto RPG (1% of Total XP is multiplied to the current revenue). The other Cats will get similar buffs when I get to create more minigames. I hope this helps :)

I agree but there is a better way to prevent exploit and other glitches in the future. By any mean, if the pop cap is reduced, those without home will leave and you receive a warning to confirm (i.e you will lose [amount] of disciples), just my idea, if you're ok with that (the new rank, the new CC is good) :3 thank you
I was thinking the same, I wasn't really sure if I should "punish" the player by removing Disciples, but warning them beforehand is fine by me :D I'll write that down and add it soon, thanks for the suggestion :)

In the upgrade shop, there should be a way to disable the filters on the left and right. They always get in the way for me to buy more Jimmy Felines and Meowrutos.

I felt great and regret at the same time with the Construction Connoisseur (CC) rank update, as it's exactly what I thought it should be, but being able to grab Disciple Upgrade earlier at 3k2 pop is also sweet. Can I suggest Squeeze Master rank, with the old CC effect after staying at max pop (red color) for a good amount of time? Like, 12 hours (equal 3 homes)
Hey there, the problem with the old effect of increasing the pop cap is that by swapping ranks you could exploit the pop cap. For example: increase pop cap, train Disciples until you reach the pop cap, swap ranks, then you'll have more Disciples than you should be able to.

Thanks. The problem is that it always tells you "next favor at x", but once you are eligible for a gift, it doesn't tell you "x to go until the next gift", so it gives the impression that you can only get 1 gift in any ascension.

Is my understanding correct that you can only gain one gift per ascension, even though you can get multiple favors per prestige? If so, the game needs to clearly tell you.
You are correct, the game doesn't tell you this, but multiple Gifts per Ascension are possible. The same goes for Favors and any other kind of currencies that will be introduced later. This is the conversion rate for Gifts:
99 Favors -> 1 Gift.

Thanks for the feedback! One more thing: It really should be possible to close menus by simply clicking outside of them. Even Astral Raiders manages to get that right. ;)
