I know this is not supposed to be a "realistic" game, but I think the enemy bullets passing right through the enemies robs you of some very interesting possibilities to make them shoot each other without firing a single shot. Maybe toggle "friendly fire" on/off or something?

such a fun game, after i beat it (it's kinda short, my only complaint) i plaedy the earlier levels and i beat the first two without stopping (but it was mostly luck, not skill). 5/5

Level 3 isn't that hard. try not going straight for the shotgun like the devs want you to, you can punch open the glass and lure them in, poonch em in the face and pick em off

Tip for level 3. Grab the shotgun, break bottom window. run to the bottom and glance the guy in front so not all your pellets are soaked up and can hit others (1 -2). Then run sideways along the bottom and fire upwards at the machine gunners at the end of the line. Then tuck yourself up along the glass panel at the begging of the level. You should be out of shots so fire you gun at the window to throw your gun and break it. Then run up and along the top column as the enemies shoot, if you keep moving you should be fine. This running path should cause them to amass at the middle, thus when you run past them and run to the bottom column and grab a shotgun form the earlier fight. As they are grouped up you should be able to make quick work of them. If you run out of bullets fall back and grab any gun, it should be enough to finish off whoever is left. Having beat the level multiple times I can say that this is the only way I have found but it does work well.

Controls, game feel, and frame rate are pretty bad. It's carried really hard by the concept and of course that doesn't really have an ounce of originality. Despite that it's not the worst thing ever and is decent to play.

Also, would be super-cool to be able to watch a replay of the level in real time, just so we can see how amazing we actually are at dodging bullets! I would especially love to see the first hallway in level 5 at real speed!

stuck at level 3. definitely needs an indication/timer on shooting delay. also the fact that the enemy can facetank dozens of bullets from the other guys is stupid, they should die if they run into their own bullets. overall not bad, concept is obviously known but execution is frustrating and lacking.

really enjoyed the game, played it straight through, an important note is that when the edge of the screen flashes blue, the next bullet in your clip is ready to fire

Why can't I throw my weapon while reloading? You could do that in superhot (and in Hotline you could throw it any time too) and it's super annoying. When you combine it with the fact that there is no icon to show reload progress (In superhot the crosshair shows reload) the game is a lot harder than it should be just because you can't reliably pull off great maneuvers.

It feels more like 2d SUPER HOT honestly. Fast pace was one of main Hotline miami traits. Also AI could use some more work. Other than that, it's pretty good.
