Wow. This game utterly destroyed my emotions, reminding me of heavily of someone I lost 8 months ago. This game was truly perfect and, in a sense, made me see things through her eyes. Truly a beautiful game and one I won't soon forget, I thank you for this experience, even if it was a painful one for me. Very, very well done.

As for the actual gameplay, it's a platformer of reasonable difficulty where your choices do have an effect on the game, albeit a somewhat minor one. Landings could be a bit slippery, but nothing outrageous. The difficulty curve was pretty nice; the last couple commands sure were tense. All in all, fun to play, very thought provoking.

Stylistically you've got some good ideas, but for a game where I have to jump over things, the floatiness of the character is quite irritating. I respect that you're going for a story-something-or-other, but whatever tale you're aiming to tell is lost on me.
Nice music though.

I'm not sure how I feel about this game, but I think I like it. I guess I don't know if its representative of an abusive relationship, or a healthy Dom/Sub relationship.
I lean toward the latter; the Voice doesn't seem to have any real power. It commands you, but you're free to ignore it. In fact, ignoring it mostly makes your life easier. But ignore it and you get a sad ending. Also, if you obey the Voice (easily in your power), its nice to you. Obeying even makes things easier at the end. And given how contrary it is to you at the start, I read it as playful, not mean.
As for the colors you get for being disobedient, I think that, in going with my "healthy D/s" interpretation, they're representative of confusion over denying something you know to be true. Or perhaps tears clouding your vision as you walk away from someone who loves you. Now that would be tragic.
In conclusion, I t know about anyone else, but I thought of the Voice as male)

except.. maybe it's godlike, but doesn't quite know what it's doing and goes a little power mad and makes you do these things. and then in the end realizes what it's done? maybe..

i think i might have come to a conclusion to what was going on but i also might be reading to much into it. we have a godlike narrator who seems to ask us to do absurd things for no reason and then rewards us by "opening our minds". he gave us something very simple to do in order that we may be forgiven and the more we resist him for the path that we would rather take the more we cloud our own minds. the more i think about it the more i feel i'm right. the best part was at the end when he said i always loved you.

Why is the voice so mean to me? I'm sorry!
Fufufufu. I'm quite interested in the fact that almost everyone thinks the voice is female. I haven't completed the game yet, but I think that says something about us in general.

Great game, moral of the story - do what ya mother told ya or suffer a pixelated disco monitor of doom! I played it four times so far and it was enjoyable every time. I really appreciated the subtle differences in the game from the good and bad path. I found it interesting how you balanced the two in difficulty. The good path having needless repetition, pausing, a more difficult path etc. but benefits from a clear coarse as well as a ledge on the most difficult part of the game. The bad path being a reciprocal of what I had just said. Nice job with the open ending/interpretation - it wouldn't be art without it.

Weird side-note: Open op the game "Waterfalls" in a second tab (it's on Kong) and play with that theme music going! It's intense! lol. Anyway. I love it

Intensely bedazzlingly spell-binding. Every now and again a developer creates a piece of art you can feel and experience, which draws you in and captivates you. Mesmerizes you and puts you into a different world for only a few minutes, but brings you back somehow 'refreshed'. To me, this is one of those pieces. I look forward to revisiting this short experience in the future. Best of luck to your future endeavors!

Just goes to show. Write a piece of pretentious narrative, put it in a 2D platformer, and lonely teenagers will give you 5/5. I completed this so called "game" twice, following each one of the dialog options (that's right, there are only two - either love, or hate). And, both paths rewarded me with eye-hurting graphics, I was either bombarded with pale and nasty colors, or everything got more 'angular' and 'grainy'. I was most disappointed when what I thought was a 2nd Level, turned out to be an 'alternative ending'. 2/5

oh shit I glitched it. there's a statue in the narrow area, right before the harder part, I died and respawned and held up, and when I spawned I was inside the wall. I can still move, though :3

The fact that I don't really understand what just happened doesn't prevent me from knowing that I just saw some really innovative narrative. Always good to see something well executed and outside the norm. Well done.

If there was a face for complete awe and envy, God show me what it is. I will spend the next week pondering the meaning of this game.

Um, the moment the main thing-whatever-it-is touches the ground, the game just freezes. It still yells at me for clicking and using non-arrow keys, but i can't move even with the arrow keys.
Does this happen to anyone else?

Wow, deep. This is something that you can't be told what it is about but you must find out on your own. 5/5 I loved it

As a testament to the creativity and non-linearity of some of the game elements, I just finished playing this game for the fifth time. I usually like to give a well balanced review with positives and negatives, but your game was so original, so enjoyable, so well put together, that I'll have to make an exception and leave this one as a positive review. On a side note to anyone who reads this, if you die before reaching the first statue and hold up and left, you get to be king of the world for a few brief moments. Thanks again for a spectacular game. I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.

Great! Very nice presentation, This game will test how we can loved through this obstacle but sometime It get too difficult to the end however I'll rated this 4/5.

Hmmm. I guess it achieves its goal, I feel like I've been related to differently. Not better, but differently. I like the different endings.

I like it.. but I don't really understand. is it trying to say that it's better to not do what something else says, even if it's for love? or what?
