This game is dreadful. For one, I don't like it telling me to do stuff I do not wish to do. Like it calling me a girl, its like something my dad would do. Maybe I am just missing the point, but I dont care as I want to control the game.
What also annoyed me was the lack of a seizure warning. Loads of colour changing blocks may not seem like much but trust me, not all epileptic fits are caused by high levels of flashing colour.
1/5. And I'm sure I will be thumbed down for this but I do not care. The deaths were stupidly long and the flashing really doesn't help.
I'm sure you won't bother reading this and I am also sure that the Kongregate community will pass me off as a whining, amateur game developer. All I can say is: My Opinion, screw you.

I'm not going to rate this game badly but... I don't get it. I can see symbolism in a lot of things but to me this seems like really clutching at straws, whether thats because you tried to get a mix of gameplay of meaning (which you did better than most other games) or just because its meant to be subtle, I would suggest you make it more overt next time so that it will appeal to a greater percentage of the players.

I finally got this game, very interesting, and a moving meaning.
However, I felt what it was lacking in story, it made up in meaning.
A nice game, and really original. 5/5

I am sorry, but the flash game, in general, is a miserable failure of a storytelling platform. Write a short story. Film a movie. For the love of god, if you have a story, don't use a flash game.

This game is awsome..when I started it told me that i`m a girl...even if i said that i`m a man...but...in the end...when I said that i`m a boy...it said : ''no,you are a man''...that because i proved that i`m a man...that was awsome

This is like God talking to you. When you obey, you please your maker, but your surroundings are dull, but eventually get better. In the end, you get your greatest prize of all. Adulthood. When you disobey, life is more colorful, but you start to see yourself get out of hand.

maybe its your concense[the voice] and its telling you to do things which you need to decide for yourself to do like jumping into the barbs i'm not going to die for something that tells me to and the ending with the coin it might mean that you succeded in life? games like these really make you think about that sort of thing also tells somewhat a lesson?

this was a great game. The feelings of a person telling you what to do all the time, it makes you angry so you doesnt want to obey the voice, but when the voice is suddenly begging you to stay, everything gets alot harder. 5/5

Don't mistake my distaste for this kind of game with misunderstanding. I get it, I really do... I just don't like it.

your constitution or maybe God telling you that obey me no matter what fear him i a good thing because he is almighty and powerful

Here's a hint. The Voice is NOT your mother. It is your Father.
Listen to the Voice and life is simple. Ignore the Voice and you complicate your life.
The Voice always loved you.
If you do not stay near the Voice, you remain far underground.
Thank you for playing in our Sunday School.

At times, this game seemed overly abusive, and did not really make sense.
The story is good yes, however for a first time to play, it is often confusing and surprising.
Overall, I'd give it a 4/5, yes it is a wekcome break, but until I understand it more, it's going to stay at 4/5.

This game make me think because if you dissobay the "voice", then everything goes all coulerfull and seems more fun, where as if you obay it then it look more realistic and dark and at the end you get a coin or something and its as if your achieving a goal.

Amazing. I love it. I definitely agree that games like this should be in their own category. Action? Give me a break. Strange but wonderful music.... almost like biaural beats..... who knows, maybe they are.

The more you do for the voice, the better the game becomes. For example, jumping over the barbs in the beginning makes the red blotches actual barbs, and if you touch the statue, it becomes an actual statue. Very interesting.

Absoloutely loved this game but I am abit confused as to the message. It seems when you agree to everything it turns out people like you but your world is dull and grey, whereas if you dont agree people dislike you but your world os a colourful place. Is it saying you need to find a happy medium?

To me it seemed too clunky to be a great game, but too heavy-handed and desperately cryptic to be truly thought provoking. I admire the attempt to do something new and different, but would like to see it done with more skill and subtlety.

1/5, this random shit doing the opposite of what i wanted,i wanted to know how to play this game, and when i pressed it this retarded game said i didnt deserve it

"Games" sans gameplay are not games. It's nice that some developers have a deep message they want to communicate, like "listen to your parents," but if the game itself is poor it deserves a low rating. Perhaps the developer could try creating a good game to communicate a message or story, as is the case with The Company of Myself?
