The interface is just such shit.. I can't properly select and move things without having to click out in free space to de-select things.. I keep sending multiple planets without wanting too.

I went on newbie mode and guess what? I conquered everything but yellow and he was in a corner protected by his main base. His main base was a defence and in the back was a small all-rounder. I could not get to his small base even with all my 89 ships, and I could not break his massive defence. Weird, right?

As someone who has played shattered plans, I can safely say that this game bears about as much similarity to Shattered plans as does Star Wars, basically, same setting, but the game is totally different.

this is nothing like shattered plans, for one thing it's not turn based, for another you can decide what kind of planet each is in this

I survived 30mins of enemies when I bought a few ships and I killed a bad guy one minute after he killed me when I did that and the green got a bug star :)

Great game and concept.
AI does like to slam its own fighters into its own minefield though. I can just leave a section covered by the enemies minefield alone because he cant escape his own field.

well, a good game I say, but AI needs some fixing. First, AI never switches a planet from minelayer, though it's possible. Second, they tend to whack their ships against your defence stars with no multiplier, while having defence stars with required angles. They should be able to send a ship to a side to give a multiplier for the attack. The hardest difficulty does make a punch, it's not that easy :) 4/5

actully it has all the things u just said its in dev version on alienprocces.com. missiles go right threw mine field and can neutralize them if not defended or defended lightly. theres also intercepters on dev version.they are well called base fighters now so hotkey is b. they have a good radius and intercept the ships if there radius detects the ships.then the basefighters detect there movment and go to the target of the attkers target itself 1 base fighter can handle 5 reg fighters.they also invade neutral or enemy planets in there radius.downside though is that when they attk they do terrible withdefence satilites.very usefull through they do not effect ship count. u can make a corinated contiuous attk with these if a large planet become basefighter planet. also there is a campain but at alienprocces.com.i hope these stategies will help u (only helps if u go to dev version) HAPPY CONQUERING !!!!!!!!!!!!

like all stars can support one gunboat
get rid of the mines
make a techology tree
and finally make a campain

Pretty fun game! You never just quite know who's going to win. It would be really sweet to see it multiplayer though.
Also, what is this a remake of?

What do you mean with some work, it's already an impressively awesome game, a little SFX, and MAYBE a few more options and I'll call you teh awesomest

Just a few things on the AI - it's rather easy to fool them on the medium difficulty.. I haven't tried hardest yet though. Also, the end-game seems to consist of lightning land grabs taking the planets that they're producing ships on and then slowly taking down their fortresses with coordinated and massed assaults.

Pretty good gameplay and a lot of potential, I would like to see hotkeys for the planet types and just A to select all, the ctrl a doesn't work for me.

>> hard to know what planet you have selected sometimes << aight, should be more clear. I just accidently had all planets selected when I wanted to create a minelayer. Made me lose quite good :D

would be better if was multiplayer, some of these cpus are so stupid
1 just blew itself up with mines and another just had 1 star and it was defence

Not a bad game. I like the idea, but the controls get a bit fiddly - hard to know what planet you have selected sometimes, and what you're sending. Good tutorial though, I always like interactive ones. The computer players suffer a bit from being too fast - it's really hard to keep up with them.
