I had sunk probably over 100 hours into this game already, and now all of my progress is gone. :( Oh well. Looks like I'm gonna have to start from scratch again on this great little time waster. I'm trying to remember if I had purchased anything related to this game, but I don't think I had. If there is any way to recover my save for this game, please let me know. I'm not super upset about starting over, but continuing from where I was would be better.

It would have been cool to have a background that changed as the scale was reduced; like, starting from a home, or even more little, and scaling to the universe.

Idle games are the most cynical and exploitative games that exist.
>Train a monkey to sit there pressing the same buttons over and over again for no reason.
>Tell it that it can speed this process up by paying up some cash.
Jesus Christ.

is there any reason energy keeps climbing after filling the bar 100%? so far i haven't seen any downside, right now I don't really see any reason to raise the cap of the bar.

This is one of the most unique idle games I've found in a while. One of the biggest tips I have for new players is to NEVER NEGLECT YOUR MULTIPLIERS, I prioritized ball bounce, and tube size but the multipliers are much more worth the money. 1 multiplier upgrade has the same effect as around 20-50 tube size upgrades would have in terms of pure energy generation. Also bubbles, they can range from a drop in the bucket to like 80% of your bar. I've been playing for 90 mins to 2 hours. As a connoisseur of the idle and clicker genre I give this game 4/5 or 8/10.

I really love this game, I forgot about it for a couple of weeks, then when I came back, I had 22 meta energy(I was at around 1440) still fun though, kinda strange
Look our answer to previous comment - it's probably due to switch to https from http, start the game at our almostidle.com website, export, import in kongregate and you should have your correct progress.

me too I restarted my browser and got prompted to load from an autosave and it took me back to December. Lost 2 months worth of game play. Bye Bye idle bouncer
There is a solution to restore your saves, simply start the game at our almostidle.com website (it's http there, so you'll see your save), export the save, then import it at kongregate and you should be good! (saves lost due to switching to https from http due to Kongregate policies, not something we can control)
This is because Kongregate switches to https from http, so when our game switched to https (about a week ago), saves have been lost (because games at https url don't have access to http url saves). We've warned about it in updates, and that's something Kongregate has done sitewide from November 2017 (we've delayed it until February 2018).
We've done the best we could by auto-saving to cloud whenever possible during all the time before the switch, but it's really outside our control as it's something kongregate-specific (happens to all Kongregate games).
There is a solution to restore your saves though, simply start the game at our almostidle.com website (it's http there, so you'll see your save), export the save, then import it at kongregate and you should be good!

@ecrozzs it's more of an incremental than an idle game, although it can be played as a more idle game once you unlock some things

I can reach meta-energy activation faster if I actually DO NOT upgrade density and gravity, instead keep the meta energy unspent. The bonus from unspent meta-energy is much better than upgrading density. What kind of game mechanics is that??!??

Does anyone else want a armful of timers?
How long until: capacity is reached? Purchase is affordable? Ball is still?

The year is 2147. Humanity has explored their neighboring planets and has drained most of the energy out of them. Earth has been mined to nearly the core, and is becoming unstable and inhospitable for life. Most of the solar system lives in outer space or in cloud cities on neighboring dwarf planets. The only available energy source in the entire solar system are heavy and densely packed bouncing balls. It is your job to gather as much energy for humanity as possible to keep the population at equilibrium.
Just a little story I thought would go well for this game.

Would it be so hard to include a tutorial so that we sort of know what's going on when we start? Instructions have been a key aspect of games, from board to consoles to the internet, and with good reason.

Then that must have been because you clicked at a Kongregate advertisement. Use an adblocker in your browser, it will seriously speed up your general browsing too!

Is this game going to ever work???? I have been trying to click where it says to click to make the ball bounce for like 20 mins and nothing is happening!!!!!!
What browser (and version) are you using? This behaviour is common for outdated browsers, so that's the first thing to check, or try the game in a different (updated) browser.
