firxen makes a good and well-articulated point. I am glad to see the developers are open to overhauling the energy concept. As it stands, the energy mechanic makes the game undesirable.

Love the energy. Good way to keep people coming back and prevent them from constantly using auto clickers. Wish it was good for something though. There is no motivation for me to click as I make more in 10 mins then I do from a full energy bar.

After reading one of your comments on what you were trying to accomplish with the energy I have a suggestion. Give the player so much energy per game day and once it is gone they have to sleep progressing the game 1 day. This allows you to also sell items for real money like energy drinks to give the player extra energy per day. Just a suggestion as I like the concept of the game but the energy thing just kills it

Shouldn't my children inherit my stock and investment portfolio? I understand there could be an estate tax, but the "gov't" shouldn't take my entire portfolio and leave me with just a "bonus".

@NormaTheNorman Once you get old (50+) you will have less max energy. At 80+ years you will have only 10 energy available, until your character dies. You can either wait till he dies or reset before that and restart with your gathered bonus ("current income per minute" devided by 25). Bonus overwrites itself and does not add to it! (So if you have 25% bonus and reset with 10%, it will be 10% NOT 35%)

If I do a soft reset (new career) I'm going to lose my employees, right? But if I DON'T do a reset - my energy bar is going to crash. Not loving these choices..

Energy must die, end of story. It's frustrating for players and will drive people away instead of generating revenue.
Nobody's going to throw money at a game like this just to be allowed to play for another few minutes. There are plenty of other games out there that I can play for free while I sip the latte I spent my hard-earned cash. Instead, let us buy value-adds that have longer-lasting effects (preferably permanent) that enhance the experience. The lottery ticket thing isn't a bad idea. Permanent offline income limit increases would be another reasonable thing to sell.
The important point is that if your game isn't fun to play for free, you're not going to sell much of anything to anyone. Sell enhancements, not basic gameplay.
Thanks for your comment! Energy concept came out from real life analogy however because of negative feedback we meet about it we will consider today to redesign concept of the game.

so anyone know if investment boosts stack or if you just get the boost that it lists? i.e if I'm at 200% and it way's I get a 150% boost is it 250 or 350?
It is caused by your avatar age. As you are getting older your energy capacity is decreasing... I see it is not clear for players. What do you guys generally think about this feature?

It appears we can manage to sit for 3 hours at the summary screen for the month and recover all our energy allowing us to progress unnaturally fast per month by delaying it in real life time.

for a game that is in beta having an option to spend kreds is an insult when you have the option to delete all progress.
It is in BETA but it doesn`t mean it is not reliable. However you may be right about game reset. It should be possible only when player is out of refills / tickets...

I'd love to see the Stock tickers remember my view settings from my last visit... the span of time that I'm seeing each ticker and also the "all" toggle state.

I'm not a fan of the energy system in any game, idle games included. There shouldn't be a limit to how long I can play a "free" flash-based game. If I feel like clicking for hours on end without paying real money, that should be my decision, rather than having the idle game mode forced upon me by a depleted energy bar. And the argument that you can still play the stock market is rather silly...it's like being allowed to play a minigame within a minigame. I don't mind if there is something else players can buy with real money, but game time? No thank you.

Can people please upvote this if they're getting the "Invalid Time Request" error? Right now the Dev is thinking it's because of something called "Speedhack"? I have no idea what that is and don't use it if it's a prog, but I keep getting the error and know others are as well.
Right. This appears when you try using speedhack, however if you can provide me a video or description with details of this warning showing in other case I will start looking for a reason.

Great game, sucks that there's an energy system, that's the sole reason why I stopped playing FB games. But at least I can sit there and play with the stock market without it costing energy! 5/5 either way :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like however I HATE 'energy' games Dont really want to sit here for 3 mins of play 3 hours of wait for energy refil

Very clearly what is intended to be a pay to win business management/idle game. Bad start with energy. Energy in a time management game is like doubling up on the income waiting time. You already have to pay attention to timers, wait long periods of time for the automatic income to make any kind of a difference in purchasing, and the game feels like it "crawls" from the beginning. No draw to keep me interested in this.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
other than what has been already said, in the game's description it says your in game character's life is limited. I find this disgusting due to the idle meaning god mode after a certain point

The gross thing about this game is that it is preventing people from going out and getting jobs and actually being money makers... you can bet this game is a money maker for the devs though! I bet a few people paid up for bonus energy.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Idle and energy don't mix. Also, it is not clear how much energy studying costs, how much experience is needed etc. All of this should not be left to guesswork.

Click button disappeared when I reset with investments.. is a shame I just saw a bright side to an energy system idle game.. but then this happened. :|

WLL YOU PLEASE TAKE OFF THE DAMNED MONTHLY TAX!!!!? It's so damned ridiculous! I leave offline for several hours, and come back to an freakin' negative number?! How the hell is this an idle game? The only time I advance is when I don't idle, and even then it's slow going. Employees? Doesn't work. If John Corporatski is the standard milstone we're supposed to be keeping up with, then you didn't plan out player's ability to make money well, because it's so frustrating to constantly not advance.

OK I am done. Energy for an idle game, bad, "add friends" bad. Now despite the fact that I have the level of school needed for a job I cannot apply because I have not spent enough "experience" yet to have that job. As if you do not have enough obstacles for advancement in this game you add this too? Peace.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I understand you are trying to make money by having individuals buy energy although, an idle game is best without energy. This game would be great if you did not need energy and a solution would be in-game purchases to help boost a persons (if he or she chooses to spend real cash on the game) income or or to purchase luxury items instead.
