I'm really looking forward to Helixteus 2 now, your first Helixteus is already god damned impressive. Good luck with its development!

Mozilla Firefox crashes every time i try to access the milky way, either from the supercluster or from the solar system :( anyone else have this problem? or know how to fix it?

Galaxie 1 in Superclucster 4 glow green without have captured all planets.
I have only one planet captured: Solar System1, the nearest planet to the sun.
I don't even know how I made this game an "idle" because the game started development back in January, before idle games became a rising trend (I think). But then the waiting times for pretty much everything just reinforces the "idle" aspect in an implicit manner.

couldn't ask for much more in a tutorial, except a skip button, unless I missed it. and SCREW THE ART! IF THE GAME IS GOOD ENOUGH, I DON"T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT THE ART!
You can skip the tutorial from your second save onwards, but I wanted to make sure everyone would learn the basics first because this is not a game where you can learn "on your own" by skipping the tutorial.

Highscores say I found a green star/Class Q sun...but where? With all these superclusters/galaxies and solarsystems it is a lillte hard to find things :D

water no longer accumulates while the game is not running, it seems...
making 2*10^22 water/second, have 5*10^25 water after a week of not playing (and i had about as much when i left)... i should be making this much in a couple of hours.
Water does not accumulate when not playing the game because it doesn't rely on the computer time, while other times such as ship travel and construction times do.

one thing I dot understand, why have I not found this game till now, I mean its amazing, thanks developer and cant wait for the next one :D

Sooooo.... I accidently zoomed out insanely far on my home planet, and I can't find my buldings, so I can't collect any resources, or do anything any more. Is there a way to center it again??

i've been playing this game a LOT over the past 3 days and i just realized how bif=g this game is, like seriously WOW. its HUGE
If this game is already "HUGE" for you, then the sequel would probably overwhelm you! I'm planning to add even more content in the sequel to make players addicted for as long as possible.
I think Kongregate has a (flawed) cheat-detection system that automatically kicks 1st place players that have considerably higher score than the 2nd. I know nothing, but it did happen to many other people.
If you mean autocollect as the science, then it does the autocollection for you at a certain rate. If you mean it as "collect all in a single click", then it's represented by the whitish star icon at the top right, beside the blue i button.

FYI: Having a planet full of Ore Tanks is a FANTASTIC way to earn UPXP. Got a very small planet full of lv17 tanks and it's already 10 levels higher than my main planet.
Also, Apple0726, should overclocks overwrite each other? I noticed that if I have a Overclock 6 on, and it still has like an hour left, that a UT Overclock doesn't apply to those buildings. Could you change that, maybe, so a higher level overclock takes priority?

Alright, as much as i love this game, i have to stop playing. Shockwave crashes every couple of minutes now on this game. Great feature to add would be spending all this INSANE amounts of money on advanced probes that find green suns. Hopefully Helixteus2 will be more manageable to play.

1 trillion tier 5 ships vs a 212 size planet of a tri-solar "o" sun system with 127 billion difficulty = shockwave media crash.

As a programmer I was impressed by how quick and lightweight your game is. That being said I noticed that your planets update themselves only once they are viewed based on the current date vs. the last date. I was able to generate millions of research points by setting my date years ahead in the future. There probably isn't an easy fix for this… but thought you should know about this hack.
Great game- I look forward to any others you make in the future.

@kdog5 The point of the water in the Idle screen is for time killing purposes. It is bate on Cookie Clicker by Orteil.

Could you add a screen which tells you how many of each building you have built across the universe and also have a stat of how many each type is producing a sec.
Also it would be nice to know in the universal planet statistics screen if a planet still has an upgrade applied. As it is now you spend a lot of time manually checking to see what planets still have the increase production speed upgrade applied and re-applying it to the planets that don't.
Thanks again for a great game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
oh sorry, I was wrong about that, energy balls increase travel speed , or both I can't remember lol. I know that upgrading the ship building and research upgrades decrease the building time for sure.

Suggestion: For me at least, the game is lagging badly on high tile planets and slows down even more as they get bigger. It would be great if there was a system for say merging buildings into 5x5, 10x10 or w/e to cut down on the loading delays. Better yet, get rid of all planets sizes that aren't 3x3 derivatives, and have the merging system be 3x3. All the buildings stats would add together and maybe even get a bonus. Loading times would decrease, etc.

Yeah, I'm getting a strange bug lately where I try to enter a galaxy and it causes the game to freeze. This doesn't seem to mess anything up, it just causes flash to crash and requires a refresh. It doesn't happen all the time just every several minutes or so. It's a real nuisance but it's dealable I suppose.

i cannot look outside my own solar system, ive just taken every planet and i want to expand. when i click another solar system it brings me back to my own and game goes all buggy. if i click to look outside my solar system abain everything is just black space everywhere and i need to restart the game. anyone have any ideas about it?

I am conquering a vast number of planets just with 30 T5, and this number can be even lower without risking a single unit. I haven't gone to superclusters, but this seems to be "quite easy" since I can purchase millions of T5 if needed.

So apparently research is instantaneous, but you then have to wait to buy another level of the same research? Is this intentional?
It's not meant to be instantaneous, the bonuses are meant to be applied after the research is done, but I think there are some sciences that give boosts even when it's still researching.

I loved the game. Especially the fact that the author continues to work on it. There is not enough end-game content. I have 389Z money, and a lot of other things, but I do not know what to do with this. Can you make factory automation? Or super structure like a large warehouse or mine? Or some ship to search stars (green or something like that) or planet (large size)? Still really looking forward to crafts.

This is actually my favorite flashgame, a title only 1 other game deserved so far.
So here some feedback in hopes I'm not the only one to think like this and to get more fun out of this:
Gems are worth a lot too much. After upgrading the energy balls, they do too much too. Take away the upgrade to auto-collect them, that just feels like cheating... Disable production during upgrades, it feels wrong that you get so much money from an upgrade that you can buy the next one from what you got from that upgrade.
Next, the fights are too easy early on(can't tell how hard they are later), it would be nice if the shipyard upgrades were a lot more expensive and the fights for planets a lot harder, so you don't get everything handed to you for free.
Or at the very least a hardmode difficulty would be nice, which simply lowers values, production and disables energy balls and gem selling, while making fights harder. It would be fun if you had to actually struggle to gain something.
Maybe I could add a hardcore mode that exactly does your suggestion, but most other players simply do not like having to click too many times in order to achieve something.

Buildings which have the same level are producing differnent amount of ore/energy. Why? Is it a bug? Please fix it. THX

Truly amazing game for a one person project, especially for someone so young! I think the content and overall gameplay are very well done for a game still in it's infancy. Sure it could use a lot of tweaking and improvements, but they will come in time. I am not a patient man usually, but sometimes I can wait for something really awesome, and so far this game has the potential to be just that. I still gave it 5 stars though because the concept is awesome and it plays quite well already. Good job!

you can check my progression in top score i really love this game and theres no save left on my comp.... help me if you can :-(
I really should make an auto-export-save-every-10-minutes feature. I'm so sorry to hear that, but you could have backed up your save in 2 seconds anywhere in the game by shift P, enter, tab, enter. Unfortunately I can't help you in this situation, but if you had any corrupt data from the recent updates you will, well, benefit from that.

.....lost my save.... half way achievements, over 600 planets, 200 sup clust 4 green suns discoverd tons and tons of buildings...and cliks... my 1milliont5 fleet bye bye....help i cant start from the beginning.....
Did the game freeze before loading the galaxy? If so, then it's probably an infinite loop for systems to try fitting themselves without colliding in a fixed area. If not, then it's another error (probably related to the new galaxy variables added a few days ago). If it's the latter, providing me the .sav file of your game would help a lot.

Bug report:
If you close battle screen too quickly it leaves graphical artifacts.
Programmer302:
You need to create a destroy objects line of code upon leaving the operation. Leaving anything you don't need creates artifacts and is bad data management. Furthermore in graphical sims it may create unexpected consequences like:
NOT BEING ABLE TO CLICK ANYTHING ON THE SCREEN WHILE ARTIFACTS ARE ON SCREEN!
Back when battles were coded (February I assume) I was still biting my nails on Actionscript 3 from difficulty (I switched from AS2 to AS3 at late December 2013), so yeah, bad data management. It would be a pain to recode the entire battle system from scratch because it wouldn't really be worth the effort imo.

Tweek Idea:
Changing Direct Max to Current Level of Upgrade
(with an indicator of ie. 10/10/3 in the build menu)
Reason Why: At a certain point building anything is kinda pointless after ya hit fully maxed ships x 100.
Also question.. havn't had the opportunity to test. Does including more Crystals in combiner give better results? Last time I checked loading a million ores seems to better use of resources.

Gaberjcat2: Farming SP can be a long process. It's better to start once you've decent gem and power orbs conversion rates, since you'll need a lot of money and energy. Having at least 5M UPXP also helps immensely. Now, the key to gaining lots SP quickly is the fact that when you speed up upgrades you get everything that would've been produced if upgrade actually took the time it needed. So find yourself a planet, fill it with universities (manually. It's the worst part) and start upgrading. If you have 5M UPXP you'll be able to simply upgrade everything and skip to the end point instantly — the price in science for that is negligible compared to your gains. Another trick is to apply best possible overclocks to your buildings before upgrading them — it will multiply your gains accordingly.

Speaking of fleets… Conquering planets with several of them at the same time is very fun, but also very tedious — for every travel you need to command each fleet. Perhaps we can have a way to group them and then command the entire group?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Amendment to my previous comment: the price seems to always be calculated from the position of nearest selected fleet, so it works on every level — be it between planets or superclusters.
