At first I was like, "This isn't so hard, why are people saying that it is?" and then I fought Melpomene for the first time.

Well that was one of the best games I've ever played. It was hard as hell, one of the hardest games of this type in my opinion. But what was best about this game was that even though it was insanely difficult, it never got frustrating, or ridiculous, or just so hard that I got incredibly angry. Atropos took me about 20+ tries, had to switch from the fast ship to the health ship after about 10. I'll be honest, when Atropos first did his spinning attack, my heart beat must have sped up faster than my first time on a roller coaster.
Thank you for making an amazing game! So much fun, good to be one of the relatively small amount of people who beat level 25 of survival =D.

Tl beat the final boss I used the shield mod, all plasma with splash and poison attachments, with one having the affliction attachment (practically a must) and the antimater bomb. Try not to use any bombs until the very end when it goes nuts and then stay close and bomb him with all your plasmas hitting him. Shouldnt take too many tries.

Obligatory colourblindness rant about how I have a *lot* of trouble seeing the red enemies on the green background in the first level it threw at me. Going to see if this persists or not. If it does, it'll be nearly unplayable for me :-/

I'm liking it so far, but it kinda bugs me that grazing makes a noise, whereas getting hit doesn't. It makes it way too easy to not even notice you're dying.

In my opinion,the Armor Hull combined with the shield is the best at Hyperion.It gives you a lot of durability and some nice regeneration for the "breaks" during the fight,and focus doesn't matter much with that many bullets.And try to make the missiles go outside the screen,because thay can't come back.Hope this helps.

2 hours later, badges obtained... and my wrist hurts >_>. Good fun for the first hour or so, although the boss run may as well be impossible with such insane amounts of health and damage done by them. It would have been difficult enough with the bosses at their normal health, I can't even fathom the amount of time you'd need to practice this game to get good enough to beat it (with the warp core).

fighting bosses is very annoying cause you make almost no AP to upgrade anything, i dont mind the hard bosses, but they should drop more AP during the fight

if anyone managed to beat every level without getting scathed and using bombs on one go beating IMPOSIBRU please TELL US HOW THE HELL TO DO IT.

I made it to Atropos! Beat that! He is the final boss and is impossble to kill! The hardest part is when all of his aromor is remove, cause his attacks are impossble to dooge.

why is the achievement icon for "get a high multiplier" the Mandelbrot set? Any way nice game and the music is very enjoyable too.

To sell an item, drag it to the lab. There is no warning, the item just goes away and you get the money. That is about the only fault I've found in this game. ApprenticeChief - please add a warning message or explain how to sell items. Other than that, this is a great, solid game. 5/5

Ha i killed Hyperion #2! Right now, im at stage 24! Stage 24 is the real problem, cause you meet the strongest ememeys in the game. When the strong ones and all those ships attack you, it is not possible. Because of that, i will not have a good chance of finding the secreat of the warp core.

It would be awesome if the stronger ships had a bit more of an advancement from the previous ones, should be an increase in damage and fire rate, maybe more of an advance on damage to the tank class ship, more fire rate to the focus class, and the other one some were in the middle.

Had to bust out the armor hull to beat Atropos. Use the focus ship to help find the safe spots first. Truly... Bullet Hell

Fun to see how people complains about Hyperion, when he's the only boss I've beaten at the first try lol, I always make the hard ones easy and viceversa...

I must be doing something wrong, because even with all my weapons capped, it still takes a while to take down even the normal mobs.

im sorry, but the game is frustratingly unfair. I could accept weapons being roughly the same the entire game, if enemy hp didn't scale horribly. Even with everything fully upgraded and on level 21, going back to fight the blue ships that vanish, i cant kill them in one go. I am fine with the bosses because you can learn their attacks, but the horribly weak weapons make the staged inbetween the bosses unfun and unrewarding. 3/5

I know this game is probably really good but... green background... red enemies... unfortunately I'm a little color blind and I have serious problems aiming to targets... :P
Maybe trying some color-blind friendly colors? :)
