What they didn't show on Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy was the hours each Dolphin spent building up enough speed to flee the earth.

There should be an option to change controls, trying to turn your dolphin and corkscrew while still accelerating as you fly into the ocean at 120 mph is quite the task

Man, i hate when i get lots of speed to make a good jump, but on the way down, i hit one of those loops and it makes me lose a lot of speed :/

It is so hard to get to the Restaurant. I watched a video tutorial and you have to reach incredible speeds to get that far.

Apollo 18: Sir, it appears we have an unidentified object on our radar
Captain: Well, what is it?
Apollo 18: It seems like...a dolphin

Oh man. Exactly how far is the Restaurant?! My fingers are going to break trying more than nine thousand times D:. I sux, and there's no luck for me in finding extension. -cries-

I got to mars and then I went so fast I crashed into the ocean floor at about 100 mph. Either this dolphin is immortal or it is a robot

I remember this game as the one that introduced me to Kongregate. I think it was in 2008, something like that. I kept coming back here. I never went to the restaurant. But i have never given up either. In 6 years. And today, the restaurant being at an altitude of 2000m, I achieved a height of 1995.7m. I even got a screenshot of the bottom of this restaurant !
Seriously, 6 YEARS !!!

I catch the stars beyond pluto and launch myself upwards, its the fastest I have ever been going at that height, and i slow down, slow down, stop, and just in the top of my screen I see a little white line that is the bottom of the restaurant, and then I start falling, and I'm like NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

What about pressing ''R'' for an instant restart? It's kinda annoying, when you are trying the impossible badge, to have to click on the menu and click on the restart button everytime you fail.

I finally got the impossible... But I have no idea how? There was a blur of star lanes, some frenzied pressing of up and down, and suddenly the restaurant was rushing past me. I didn't even know I'd passed Pluto!

After 5 years of trying for this hard badge on and off, with it being today's Badge of the Day I finally got serious about it. The game doesn't tell you the most important thing to get a high speed, and that is that the higher your CURRENT combo score, the faster you go. Unfortunately, my combo broke whenever I entered the water. Then today, I realized that by entered the water WHILE DOING A CORKSCREW KEPT YOUR COMBO GOING! What you need to do is press the Up key while rising to the surface of the water, and hold Down while rising and falling in the air and when you re-enter the water. Since each corkscrew turn adds to your base score and combo multiplier, doing it in the air increases your score, and keeps your combo going when you re-enter the water. Once you have gotten enough height, usually after your 3rd jump, you can add front and back flips while in mid-air to start racking up points. Rate up if this helps you so others can get the Hard badge also!

Lol, nice reference with the Restaurant at the End of Universe.
I'd give 42 stars to this game just because of that. ;)

highest speed 112.87m/s... that's 406332m/h... and that's 406.332km/h! why the hell aren't we using dolphins for transport??? it'd be a lot cheaper than buying petrol... and let's face it... getting a dolphin ride into school or work would be utterly awesome!
