Finally got the badge XD My strategy was to build up enough speed to get between the moon and mars. Star slide off one star trail (or more if available) and come down. Get as much horizontal speed as possible, do a tail slide on the surface and launch. On that launch do as many star slides + launches as possible and try to get past Neptune. Land again (tricky) and repeat the process and hope for getting lots of star trails! Going up, the star slides only show up for a few frames so it takes some goo reflexes. For practice try it in Free Mode and get good at landing from at/past Pluto.
Finally I can stop playing! lol

I've enjoyed this game a quite a bit, and I must say, the biggest downside I've found is that for a game with two minute rounds, I've lost _hours_ of my life. Brilliant, if simple, premise. Great execution. 5 Stars.

daizaru -- I was having the same problem you were until someone told me what I was doing wrong. You need to get a lot of horizontal speed, then do a normal jump at a 45 degree angle after you've got 20 "nice entries" in a row (so you have enough speed), then do at least 4 STAR slides to build up a tailslide bonus. Then, and only then, can you jump out of a tailslide properly. Also, when you are approaching the surface of the water to do a tailslide, approach the surface at an almost parallel angle so that you maintain your horizontal speed out of the tailslide jump. You need the starslide bonus (starsliding at least four times) to get your tailslide jump high enough to reach the starslides out of a tailslide jump though.

Great Game, very simple, addictive, very fun! However, Flash doesn’t have sound controls and the lack of a mute button hurts these games quite a bit. Don’t assume your users want your music at top volume. So from 5/5 to 4/5, and +1 star if they add mute button or volume control.

I don't understand, I've seen the videos and everything but my tailslide jumps never get any higher then the fireworks even when I have momentum to jump a lot higher.

This game is so innovative, is based off of a great book/movie, and has good graphics, sounds, perfect badges and challenge, more addicting than heroin, 5/5 for sure.

Finally hit that starslide above pluto and got m'self some fish at the restaurant (ur, diner). Amazing game, terribly addictive.

I HATE the starslides, they're so F-ing luck based! I just went SCREAMING past the oon four times, and couldn't hit it once.... I'm screaming sideways too, so it's not a stright-up and down thing. grr....

final score, 130 464 768. And yes i did get to the restaurant. 60 points.
Here is a tip, hit the starslide above pluto is the only way to get enough height to get to the restaurant.

i just noticed that this game has an internal clock that changes the background to night time in the night time!
SO AWESOME!

tail sliding is a pain... i get the 20 nice entries and then try and tail slide... my problem is getting the jump... do you just hit up right when you start sliding? It never works for me.... ugh

As far as good strategies, go for speed not points. then, make sure you NEVER do any jumps more than 60 degrees, or your speed will be tanked

O.K here is a good tactic to get a HIGH SCORE: Keep your entries "nice" and remember, you can flip AND corkscrew at the same time.

Like the detail with the changing background, that changes depending on the time of day. At day, the background has a glowing sun and at night theres a lovely sunset.

Have you's if you crash the dolphin into the ocean floor at high speed he gets stunned for a bit. The first time it happened I tought:"I killed my dolphin..........lol"

you can see the highscores in kongregate chat. As for the impossible badge...yeah, it is possible, but only just. You need tactics.

It would be nice that even if you got the badges that it would still track your individual stats for speed & height for example.
