heres my strategy, 3 tech and 3 spd like the guy below me, the butt loads of growth. i mean butt. loads. after i get like 7 per evolution i just go balistic with armour, more ultra clusters of spd and tech, and more amour. also DONT FORGET TO SAVE. yeah.

TIPS FOR ALL EXPLORERS:
1 : AS SOON AS YOU ENTER A NEW FIELD, MOVE! When those cannons fire, they hit HARD. Even if you have armor, it's extremely likely that you'll be blasted back into the old field.
2 : Speed Hex's are lifesavers. Forrealz. It's much more efficient in the beginning stages to avoid every missile you see than to tank everything and have to rebuild because one bullet missed your armor.

I must say, I quite enjoy this game. It was a little difficult at first, but the endless potential and combinations kept me at it for a long while.

toggle, delte, change location to spwan and mutation counter on evolve screen, we can't build under this write in upper side of the screen

how the batches are defined? ı add speed but it is not linked , or I add another thing bıt it does not batch with the other cells. ??? must be more clear how to batch cells

It would be awesome to be able to test a cell out before you finalize your evolution, just to make sure it will work how you want it to. Or maybe add an unlimited mode or something, where you can just experiment with different configurations.

PLEASE, Developer, fix that. This game is just much too awesome, to be destroyed by your stupid inertia.
By sending strong enemies you force us, to build well constructed cells, but only the dense ones are stable enough to fight for real, the other ones will sooner or later start stupidly spinning aound, smashing your only vulnerable point into the face of the enemies. And those big ones just IMPLODE.
Its impossible, to make a "perfect" cell.
What about treating a batch of hexes as one being? This woud make the perfect cell possible, and i also dont think, that amoebas can spin around with 5times per second...

I don't know what kind of goofy physics engine you used for the missile firing, but it's definitely wonky... way too hard to aim properly since the trajectory of the missles doesn't quite seem logical based on your cursor position and momentum.

I love this game, but man do I hate it sometimes... death almost always feels completely arbitrary. Regardless of how many regenerating armor batches I have, regardless of how large I am, and regardless of how I build my cell... sometimes I just die out of nowhere after one or two hits.

I wish there were badges for the game,not counting any in-game achievements, except for these ones:
Collect 10000 food (I'd say hard difficulty if it were a badge.).
All 10 bosses defeated (definetly impossible,that's for sure!).
100 areas discovered (probably easy or normal.).
25 hex cell (easy BIGTIME!).
Game complete,20 max hexes (I'm sure impossible will fit for this one:).

I really love the game!I've got some thoughts for what to add.Here they are:
+ Poison hexes,which would be dark green.They're like tech hexes.
+ They cause missiles to not only do damage,but the target loses all of the hexes of the same type that got hit,one by one.This also goes for missiles fired by bombs.
+ More enemies!Poison hexes would be also be composing these enemies: Poison Fighter , Poison Bomber , and last but not least , Poison Grower!
+ If a poison hex touches your cell (also goes for enemies) ,the same thing happens as getting hit by a poison missile.
That's pretty much it!

at first I ran into some encyclopedia of text explaining each detail. yawn. then I found the instructions. all is in tiny text an cumbersome menues. Then, when evolving for the first time, I searched for the encyclopedia to look up what growth(green) does. did not find the encyclopedia texts any more, now that I needed them :-( Instead I got back to play, not knowing that my chance to evolve was gone! pressing E again nothing happened. Very frustrating. Finally, when I returned to my home area after clearing one other area, thre were enemies. And my cell suddenly spinned round and I could not aim. No fun anywhere.

Never mind, turns out the levels are just not saved as a "Level Up" item, but adjust relative to the total amount of cells eat:cells needed for level up

There appears to be an issue with leveling, where, once you take a level, the level to the immediate left of it, whether in progress or complete, will be exhausted as well.

@GsarahC as i was buildign the third layer my celle was imploding on itself. i also found that if you close the layer but have an armor where a gros should be cause you couldn't mutate it then you lose the rapid fire. worst of all was i had to face off with a missile snake thing boss with no rapid fire. i won and nearly got the levelup but it was tough

I have found out that if you use only speed, grow, and/or tech hexes in your celle you get an AOE weapon that shoots an orange ring from your core. So, in theory, you don't need missles or bombs to kill other celles. It is hopeless to do so, but not impossible!

YES SURE!? MY CORE IS THAT HEAVY AMORED, THAT EVEN 100 LASERS WOULD NOT BREAK IT BUT THEN THIS FREAKIN ROTATION GLITCH HAPPENS, THROWS THE CORE AWAY AND ITS IMMEDIATELY DESTROYED!? F YOU MAN. JUST F YOU.

Man Antithrusters are LIFE-ESSENTIAL my cell contains three parts: a heavily protected core one Minigun with antithrusters and one unfinished minigun, which doesnt have antis yet. My whole cell rotates crazily all the time, but the anithrusted minigun.

Hmmm... ah thats a good tactic...first grow, get the MGcore and then collect lotsa food and then evolve multiple times completely changing the cell. ... WHAT THE!? Nature stole my idea.
