i was refraining from thinking this is a feminist bitching game, but when as the game progressed and all the victims were women, I couldve thought this game to be cheesy feminist bitching game... but i didnt. I just thought its a character flaw for Anaksha to just focus on "cases" where women suffered. But then now when the idiotic astrology freak and that police chief debated, Anaksha sided with the astrologist's guesses ("that donut-guzzling chief never ceases to amaze me"), and for no reason than doing his job (so far as we know, leaving no stone unturned) it finally pushed me over the edge... and NOW THIS IS A FEMINIST GAME FOR CHICKWHINERs. :P Plus, the dialogues are cheesy, and so is Anaksha's name, and so is her appearance. Babaji scares me, he "prays" for her, religiously, but for her to kill others? WTF? As hypocritical as that St. John scumbag.

I hate all this bullshit. Like a 12 yrs old who watched a porno-gore movie wrote the descriptions. I hope the second part won't be so pathethic. And the skull destruction model - it's not so simple as you wrote, even with those "hammer bullets".

Nice art style. The story is very heavy-handed and simplistic. The protagonist questioned her motives for a few moments, but then was reassured that she was right all along and never looked back or had any reason to. I suppose it could be intended to be irony that the world which is portrayed in black and white, is also just that simple. I held out some hope that the story might go somewhere interesting or have a nice twist, but I was disappointed. The medium lent itself to an interesting story, it is unfortunate you did not take advantage of the opportunity.

This game was definitely one of the best sniper games I have ever played. Intriguing storyline, great game play, great soundtrack, amazing graphics and almost everything made this perfect. The lack of variety in suits was a bit of a downer, but it still deserves 5/5.

Okay, points for style... Even if that style is clearly borrowed. This is very professional-looking, and overall, it works very well. The storyline, as has been commented, is rather on the heavy-handed side... One could get the impression from it that, literally, the only good man is a dead man. A little more ingenuity in the missions would be appreciated as well. Different target points in the head are all well and good, but sniper games have come a long way in imaginative level design, and steps forward are always appreciated. Room for a sequel, I guess. Overall, a worthy effort.

I like how there's a real story behind this shooter game. It could use more variety in enemies, though. Like other commenters, a few female antagonists would be good. Excellent art, beautiful music, smooth gameplay. 4/5

I enjoyed the plot line and the moral messages underlying it. I enjoyed the level of difficulty offered by the assassinations and the sub-realistic blood spray. Your use of the occipital lobe and all the other great places to put a shot if you want to be sure was awesome. It shows that you actually researched a little on what an assassin has to know. The score was pretty fun, nice metal riffs. I also really liked the black and white style you did the cut-scenes in. But I do have a few complaints.
First of all, you villein-ized men in a blatant generalization that all men are evil. It really made me sad to see how far you went to make all men without exception appear to be monsters.
My other complaint was the way the assassin always talked about the targets as "This worm/maggot/slime/etc.etc.etc...

wow... incredibly mediocre writing i hate that it actually takes itself seriously... question: why are there 50 men walking around with sunclasses receding hairlines scars and various piercings and a tux on every street? also... why is there no women who arent hookers,strippers, being raped, being killed, or being beaten n that whole (insert word here) city?

yea a mute for the music. and an amazing game!!!! first one ive played with the specific head shots needed. I think the plot gets you really into the character. and the underlying mythological element was very intriguing. a sequel would be nice ;D

Awesome game, but I have two qualms. One...what's with all the rape? Is rape like, the only crime committed in Santa Lina, or what? And are women the only victims? My second qualm is...why the hell was the last level so easy? Seriously, I was trying to shoot the guy's hand until I saw the wonderful dues ex machina of a conveniently placed rope. Ah well, rest of the game was great, so you still get a five out of five from me.

So yeah, I started off grimacing at the cliched stories and and easy mission, but once you keep playing this game really draws you in. Yes, it's stupidly over-the-top, particularly the storyline... but it's all part of the film-noir feel of the game. I wish it had a little more gameplay though, but the last set of missions were good.

too you people who are srceaming "sexist if you read the faq it explains that he originally intended to add female characters, different skin colors and different clothings but that would have taken a long, long time and he( or she don't know) wanted to realise it sooner so theres your explaination

Methinks Anaksha is a Virgo. After the second mission in cutscene 3, she has a tatoo that looks an awful like the Virgo symbol (An m with a ribbon).
