Great game with severe issues that ruin the experience: The controls stop working for no reason, spcially mid air and ending in you falling to your death. Also there's a severe issue when loading upper parts of the levels, since the game is not procedural, consider just loading bigger chucks instead so we get less slowdowns.

Ok, my inability to see the upgrade screen was my fault, but I'm starting to see other issues with the game, such as dashing only to the right by pressing E and double tapping A or D doing nothing (if you wanna dash to the left, press Q, which the game doesn't tell you), constant lag that hinders gameplay (which at first I thought was my PC's fault, but it seems to be happening to more people). Maybe there is more, hopefully not, but these were the ones I was able to find.

I like this, the problem is that I somehow managed to miss the upgrade screen so at first I thought the game was just unfairly punishing. I wish there were something telling me that there are upgrades in the game.

The dash doesn't work at all (it only dashes to the right and double tapping does nothing). There is also a high amount of lag which makes the game not enjoyable at all.

Can't get it to run in Chrome, even though I have the SuperNova extension enabled, it still says to run Adobe Flash or SuperNova so I can't even get to start the game. I can get the title to come up in Firefox but the game won't start. This is just ridiculous.

you don't even get a chance to recover, the moment that you fail any jump or even TOUCH the bottom, you can no longer jump, despite the fact that there was a platform right there just a 0.000001 second ago.

If there was an upgrade to slow the scroll of the game window I would buy it, as it currently is this game sux and get a 1 star from me and I am not ashamed to say so... downvote me if you wish I no longer give a shỉt

when you try to go up a platform then a slime hits you, you bounce off the platform and you fall out of the screen, very frustating

The controls and visuals are very buggy - sometimes it jumps, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you can land on the platform, other times you go through it. Seems very...touchy? Starting from scratch every time is a total cop-out. Please, developers, stop that crap. 1/5

It would be better if the player was always in the center, so if you aim at a certain height, the aim stays on that height. Because the height of the character changes, if you aim up and jump high enough, you end up aiming downwards. If could be accomplished by moving lava upwards, so there's still the need to hurry up if you don't want to die.

My maximum height is 1263. I deleted my save file in order to start from the beginning because it's more interesting when there's still progression, but that of course also resets the total diamonds collected and enemies killed. My advice is to play in incognito to start a new game and when you upgrade everything, you can just continue playing in your main save file to increase your total diamonds and enemies scores.

I like this game a lot! Although there's not that much to it after you've completed it. Although like early arcade games, some people play a highscore based game for years to get the highest score possible and this game is way more fun than Snake for example. :P Sometimes I start a new game and complete it in 30 minutes and have some fun. The second version is greatly improved and has many new features like levels and different modes, so it's a really good successor and more of an adventure level based game than an arcade game, but it has multiple arcade modes if you want to play those.

your games bugged when i fall the game wont let me pause or hit escape at all it seems to be stuck scrolling up. so for now i can't say anything about this game

@Arkeus this game is broken. When we die, the game just keeps scrolling up, never gives the game over screen, nothing.

@namtaru: "You acquired this badge on Jul. 09, 2011." for the hard badge for me. Graphics are bad, but it's still a good game. It reminds me of the platforming games from the late 1980 and early 1990s where the screen auto-moved.
