Very nicely done. You have a genuine talent at this, and to consider that you did this all in 48 hours. There are full budget, major developer titles that have taken two years to make that I've played for less time than I've already put into this here. Good show, keep it up!

Kinda felt Claustrophobic at first, then i actually moved around enough to have the camera start moving to the edge of the actual arena and was like 'Wow, thats like... 4 times the space!' Then I got hooked on the gameplay... Then I payed attention to the story. And I got depressed by the ending. Then i got intrigued by the 'secret mode' medals and was like 'LIKE OH EM GEE, GAIS!' and so I sat there not moving or attacking... and died, then i didnt attack and moved around and BOOM NEW MODE. I was like 'OH EM GEE GAIS!' AND I FRAGGING LOVE YOUR GAME

ok how long does it take to kill the boss on + I was fighting him fully powered up for like 10 mins and still not dead.

Updated a few things based off your feedback. Thanks for helping find issues! Changes:
Fixed shrapnel mode appearing unlocked when it isn't.
Story+ and Story++ now drop more metal.
The timer on story mode now stops as soon as the boss dies.
Fixed achievement descriptions for secret mode achievements.

Is anyone else unabl to play shrapnel mode? ecaus ei beat the story and whenever i click shrapnel mode nothing appens
It's a bug that I hope to fix soon. You'll need to beat Story+ mode to activate shrapnel mode (it just looks like its been unlocked after beating story mode).

How does secret mode work? Your supposed to not kill anything, but I find it impossible to survive very long even with max upgrades.

Well made, not particularily inovative, but in today's storm of MMOs, etc., this is a refreshing return to what I remember flash games being about :)
If I make the timer stop sooner, I would also make it require 2:26 instead of 2:30. It's balanced to make it a challenge around that extra time before the clock stops.

a lot of times i would kill the boss under 2 minutes 30 seconds but because the game ends 3+ seconds later, i wouldnt get the achievement. took like 10+ tries to get 2:29

Must be 'Mericans cuz after winning the first time I didn't attack but they're "defensive" drones still attacked me o.O

It reminds me one episode of "The Outer Limits" series, where the Earth decided to launch nuclear missiles towards alien fleet, and then they decrypted message "we come in peace".

Extremely satisfying game. I really like how you can beat the story mode with almost no upgrades. Story+ should however drop more metal, so that players won't have to grind story mode over and over again when upgrading.

Energy shield: yellow outside, green inside. Gives temporary invulnerability.
Time distortion: all purple. Temporarily slows time for enemies and their bullets, normal time for you and your shots.
Bullet nullification: Blue. Stops all enemy shots which vanish shortly after. !!WARNING!! SHOTS CAN STILL DEAL DAMAGE !!WARNING!!
Shrapnel burst: Red band around the outside, yellow inside. A burst of many small shots dealing moderate damage...COMPLETELY USELESS during chaos mode btw, and easily mistaken for energy shield too =w= Please change the damage so it scales with time at least in chaos mode.

Swarmer:
Blue--flies slowly toward you
Red--flies toward you and fires at a slow rate
Green--remains in place then "dashes" to your location before firing a burst
Orange--has the fastest movement speed, actively chases your ship. Does not turn unless it ricochets off a wall. Always rebounds towards your ship. Fast enough to outrun missiles, effectively diverting them from hitting anything.
Zoner:
Purple--flies either vertically or horizontally while occasionally firing a spread. Fires more often when close to your ship.
Yellow--flies around, then fires in a spiral when it stops
Sniper--does not move, fires a dense two-shot spread from any range
Other:
Disc: flies slowly around the map

Overall decent could be a bit larger screen does feel cramped, difficulty jump from initial story to story+ is a bit steep given the size of the enemy fire compared to your own. 3/5

Quite enjoyable, and better than some full-production shooters. The persistent upgrades and other notes greatly extend the enjoyable play time. Well done!

Cool story, quick game, but pretty work, some improvements would be good, like a full screen option, better graphics and more story 4/5. Favorited list (Y)

Can you add more upgrades at very high cost for people that are not good at this game? I want to see the true ending but my skills are too low.
