I seriously like this. I've been able to hold survival on the third map for 23 minutes and 11 seconds, reaching hero level 46. It would be good if you could influence the board more in what it gives, like that the board will give double the amount of stones at the cost of getting no wood, so you can fit the board to what you need. Also, you could lower the amount of chests and gems, it overfilled pretty quickly every time. In the end, the enemies health got so high that i had to resort to building skybound towers and equipping them with poison, just for maximum damage output.

Not really my cup of tea. I like the idea but it's really too easy - and it seems ANY tactic works for EVERY level, which really is not what a TD game should be like in my opinion. After completing every level on hard in first try, and then surviving ~20 minutes on survival (i stopped building/upgd after that so i could get the badge) my conclusion is that the fact that this game was made in 48 hours shows - just not in the way i had expected. It is a well polished game, but clearly the designer didn't play it through to balance it enough times. [3/5]

So much fun, but way too easy in survival and hard mode. Would love to see this game with a little more complexity and customization, too. Though, fantastic game already.

it was very easy to beat the game on hard, all i did was put long range towers and get them to mythril and make a bunch of arrow towers getting the arrow towers to iron/adamint.

I found the game pretty easy (even on hard), didn't need the pause button much except for changing equipment or checking gems. Levels on hero and eq on hero helps in start of level :-)

It would be nice to switch between gatherers/resources so I ran out on wood on survival and couldn´t build new towers (wich I really needed) just upgrade the existing ones. Else I love the game 5/5

Bug report: the +defence modifier on items doesn't seem to be adding defence. Point in case: I have 351 defence with no weapon, and when I equip a +23 defence sword, I still have 351 defence.

With that aside, this game is actually a fairly good TD game. I liked the RPG/Puzzle/TD combo, it made it more fun to play than other TD games. Good job. :D

My main strategy was to gather wood and stone as fast as possible, and use a lot of skybound towers, equip a few of 'em with a 20% dmg stone and poison stone, and upgrade all of them. Got me through all of the hard levels fairly easily. And I usually placed 1 or 2 sweep towers at the start and middle with curse/slow to help.

Great. Effing. Concept. A little too easy. What I really wanna see added the next time around is prince controls and the ability to drop worthless orbs and equipment, mostly for endless.

It'd be nice if upgrading towers did more than just boost their damage. A range/speed boost would be nice. Also, information on stats would help. Is armour with a higher rating but no +defence better than one with a low rating but higher +defence? When you've completed the story on easy, the game seems to become far simpler--you can use VIII to boost your starting equipment, which in turn means you end up not even needing towers for the first 2-3 levels on hard.

just survived about 40 minutes in endless mode. nearly filled the map with sweep towers(as long as they are attacking 3 targets they have the highest damage, and once you get far in endless mode there are always a ton of enemies) eventually i got bored and stopped doing things. was my first endless mode attempt.

One of the few TDs that didn't put me to sleep while playing it. If the goal was to create a TD that actually engages the player, consider this a massive success. 5/5

Mixing Bejeweled with tower defense doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. Would have been fun without the side game distracting me.

I like this game. However, I don't feel that the puzzle mode is very puzzle-y. It doesn't take much thought. There's no chance to do combos (like you might have in a Bejeweled, Columns, or Tetris Attack clone). There's no bonus for matching more than 5 at a time. There are no special tiles. That makes it very twitchy, with limited opportunities for strategic thought. Just grind tiles as fast as your mouse hand can go.

When you play Endless mode there comes a moment when you havent got enought space in your inventory for new items/stones. (or at least i wasnt smart enought to figure out the delete buton). Great game though. Cheers

I didn't think it was possible to make a tower defense game that wasn't an awful, repetitive, derivative pile of garbage but you did it. I actually wouldn't mind the fact that every single TD game that gets made gets badges if they were all like this. Well done! :D

beat it. I really liked it. the resource gathering WHILE playing aspect of it was annoying, because you couldnt really focus on the game and just had to frantically play a puzzle the whole time. But if you worked out some way that it wouldnt be like that, it'd be great

pretty good game
@pakkk: cus your using a right handed mouse with your left hand or cus you have some sort of weird illness type thing that makes your pinky go numb when your not even using it.

So wearing heavier armor makes me more agile...nice! Also probably one of the easiest hard badges on the site, thanks hydrozxide.

I had completed 6 out of 8 levels on hard, took a break, came back and found out it hadn't saved my progress. Does anyone know why?

4/5 - this was a very fun mix of concepts, it really works. The downside is that I was spending most of my time getting resources and so I was barely paying attention to the map screen. I usually like watching my towers stomp the baddies. I also found this game VERY easy - I played on hard mode on every map on my first try and never even came close to having a monster hit my castle. My suspicion is that poison in sky towers is overly powerful.

Great game! Maybe the badges are a little too easy. A sequel with hero classes, more items and more levels would be nice.

I think this is one of my new favorite games. I love tower defense, I love games where you have to equip the hero, I love rpgs, and I love puzzle/tetris/matching games. It's like you read my mind and mashed them all together in a highly enjoyable 8bit theater sort of way. Keep up the good work!

I'd like a way to tell if an enemy reaches my castle, maybe the screen flashes red for a moment or something. just so you know if you need to put all your resources in building now instead of saving up for something better

Great game. Found it a little easy, even on hard, not one enemy through, just spammed skybound towers then upgraded them. Very enjoyable though, 5/5.

Some suggestion I feel would improve the game: A sound+music on/of switch accessible in game. Some way to control the hero, either by giving him a "patrol" area he stays inside, or something like the towers, highest hp, first, last, ect. Especially in survival mode, I keep wishing I had some way to go back to previous gathering areas, to find more iron or wood, so allowing you to click and return to areas you've already unlocked would be nice. I'm also not 100% clear on whether orb effects can stack, and how they do, it would be nice if that were explained somewhere, in addition to the stats. ex: two strike orbs grant 100% chance for +50%, two 50% chances they can occur together and stack, or if strike/flame orbs affect poison orbs.
