In regards to getting Materials it can be a bit of a stretch, it's a bit random, just push forward, a quick way to get higher levle areas is to collect Hot Dirks and turn them into Plasma Swords, they help a TON!!!
Currently appears to be 9 areas (I done Area 9 and cant see a 10th Area on Map) and 3 Leaders.
To farm Mats you will find more Mats drop in higher areas, but they do also get lower drop rates so up to you to figure out which works for you, persoanally I farm in areas 6, 7, 8 mostly.

Just some info to help some Peeps:
So firstly there is a Sort Feature, it's unlocked via crafting, it's not perfect, if you spend a second the Dev is working on making the INV better, so please stop asking for it to be improved, Rome wasn't built in a day and all that.
Next ther is a Filter as well, it's quite expensive, but it's great, it hides pines you don't wanna see, again unlocked via crafting.

sigh... as i posted that i unlock a pin to sort stuff.... yeah however for being able to sort stuff!
Another question im wondering about though is that i have 2 upgrades now that require a lot of grass. but the last area with it was 2. maybe 4 will have it again. but there is no hint at it, which makes me think i need to farm area 2 a lot.

Are the 1 billion season point unlocks that high because they are truly end-game or because they haven't been implemented yet?

A way of reseting the season tree would be nice, even if it costs some of the SP collected. It would mean making mistakes early not so bad. It could be like for 10% of your SP, that way, cost goes up as you advance in game too

There needs to be a 'rest when all defeated' option. Otherwise you're either stuck farming at low levels (when you're truly idle) or having all your pins dead and then picked off one at a time when they regenerate.

@tulamide your cps is 4000 but if 1 pin dies obviously your dps gets lowered... the display shows your full formation cps when all pins are alive, also even if you cps is 4000 but if your pin takes 3 seconds to attack but the enemy atk speed is 1 second it can easily kill your pin before it can even attack, this means that no matter how much damage you COULD do in 1 seconds if your pin only attacks every 3 seconds; even in other games lets say you are casting a spell that takes 10 second to cast so 10 seconds til it actually deals damage if that spell deals 1k damage every 10 seconds that would mean 100 damage/second so it would say that your dps is 100/sec even tho you only deal 1k damage every 10 seconds, so if the caster dies before the spell is casted than the dps is useless cause you will deal 0 damage if you cant survive those 10 seconds

seems you are using a buggy unity to compile. I am getting "operation is unsecure" errors again in FF71 on linux. I thought that was a problem from five years ago.

If an enemy needs an overcharge of 4000, and I have a formation with a cps of 400, the enemy should be defeated after 10 seconds. Instead, I am stuck somewhere around 2k oc, with no chance to beat it, since all my pins remain dead. So either the cps calculation is severely wrong, or the game mechanics don't care about the cps. Both possibilities are bad and annoying.

You get SP per pin collection and per fuse. Early game, this is the primary source of SP. Yet there's an upgrade to collect betas instead of Alphas (at 1.9x the price) and further tiers at similarly increased ratios. Am I the only one who sees this as a terrible upgrade long term? Spawning betas means you are getting roughly half the collects and half the fuses. Granted, other sources of SP might dominate mid / late game, but for any early gamers looking for a little less clicking, it's an absolutely terrible trap to fall into.

@chr1shuk i would say no due to christmas events. Due to plasma sword and ice shuriken + 6k cells. I personnaly will stay at season 1 and farm some more plasma swords while leveling all pins lvl50. After T11, scaling seems bad, T12 and T13 are not worth that much vs sword T5/T6.

Charge bonus doesn't add from season to season? You should fix that. Player should keep bonus already earned. I'll come back when you've refined the game.

i kinda like the game, been playing for couple weeks. but i must say this is the only game where combining items might be a major loss, and prevent you from progressing for a long time again. since it took so long to be able to combine the two. like dmg/sec might go up a wee little bit but attack speed now is around 3x slower.. so with most enemies attack rates much faster than your pins.. it might not attack for a long time since it always dies b4 getting to attack. or is the only real way to progress is by farming for days and days to get one type of pin (hot dirk) for plasma sword. that is really boring and seems like the particle pins are useless except for global tuning lvl 70+.

Top comment is wrong. It is a damn lot of grind, but you don't need to get all that in one season. Trash is not reset on prestige, so you only need at least 1/16th at a time.

Slow and annoying, Im giving up before hiting the first reset. Not going to leave the browser open 20 hours to get one miserable pin to improve my dps. Seems like the dev doesnt really play his own game.

In case others haven't figured it out, if you Don't Dismantle Core Set pins, they give permanent cells for the synthlab, which never go away. The choice of dismantling them is: several cells now, or a few cells forever. You can check how many permanent cells each core pin you have is worth at the very bottom of the season pass info table (you have to scroll it), listed under "extra cells information".

Correction to my last comment, I think the drop on the 2nd leader just bugged because I killed it at the very last instant. Half the game appears to have counted it (hence the reward crate screen), but the other half didn't (hence zero crysblood as a reward). Still needs to be fixed though.

The RNG on drops really sucks sometimes. I just defeated the 2nd leader for the first time and got literally nothing from it ("you won 0 crys !!!!").

In the crafting, might be helpful to have unique tab vs repeatable tab. Since most of the unique crating can't be crafted right away, the list becomes longer and longer and becomes confusing really quickly.

Should just make the Unlock Pins be equipable in the menu button slot. That way it adds flair that stays in line with the game (Pinning the unlock to the menu to use it), removes the pin from the tray and cleans up the space.

i like the game but hate the clutter ...there should be a way to sort pins or hide one like whats the point of the synth lab pin if i got the button on the right and everytime i come back to the game the pins are just a jumbled mess
