To get the badge, use your rockets (left/right) to hit as many platforms as you can. I upgraded the height of the sling first (always pull down to release) and then everything else. I used the boosters as well, but I think I only got them to level 2. I reached mars in 17 days.

Thank you Ich0815, tested your method and just managed it on day 2.
The amount of RNG you need for this though is insane, had to restart at least 15 times before I got anywhere near close the required cash.
Just to help reinforce the method: Pray to the RNG Gods to get 5k+ ---> Buy AT LEAST Radar 3 and Fuel sucker 3 (E-rocket and any extra fuel if you can also afford, I found that helped a lot in my attempt) ----> Good Luck required.

Worst launch game I've ever played, thinking of skipping this badge. Like, really? 20 days? it's not that hard but dude, this game sucks, there's no control whatsoever, it's confusing at first cz u don't know where u supposed to launch that freaking thingo -.- HATE IT

if you want the hard badge you ll need at least 5k the first day. radar 3 and fuel sucker 3 means limitless fuel. so with both bought after the first day i could go mars in 2 days.

Also btw i have a suggestion, Make 2 separate reset buttons pls. Reset whole game and Reset run. Would be helpful much. btw best worst game i played 1/5 star

In 9 / 10 cases there are no platforms at all after launching, so that you fall down like a stone (even with steering a bit) and day over. No money earned. Rinse and repeat. Great game...

I finally made it to the Mars in 3 days.
Although i hate this game, ill give some tip to get hard badge.
1.) Try to hit as many platforms as possible, especially those green or better platforms, also keep yourself in air as long as possible, I got like $6k doing this on day 1.
2.) On upgrading Launcher, focus mostly on height and band, upgrade width if you have extra money that cant be spent on any other upgrades.
3.) Buy the e-rocket at day 2 if possible cuz it will help alot, and only focus upgrading one of your rockets for better horizontal movement( since platforms are too far from each other, moving horizontally would really help hitting platforms). Changing directions are not that helpful anyway so only focus on 1 rocket.

Easy badge really is easy. Not sure why so many have trouble. Just try to keep calm and don't spend the fuel if not necessary. You much more money if you manage to stay in air for a long time, so it's not all about height. Focus on the launcher the first days, maybe some fuel and get the emergency rocket when you can. If you get to like level 3 rocket, you almost go to Mars without platforms. I got to Mars on day 7 or so on first try. Getting it in 3 days is a lot of luck involved though, so I gave up on that. There are videos on Youtube if you need any more tips.

Hmm it says it has controlls. Maybe it does, but none that I can use (even after upgrades). Rocket engines are working randomly.

1) Make a launcher where you have to shoot through the center of the Earth and come up the other side before ascending to space 2) Put the first screen "upside down" but with a high catapult length so players have no idea which way they have to shoot 3) make sure you rotate the screen a couple of times in the process in case anyone was still not confused 4) Get a lot of downvotes /// It's Easy!!!!

Not only is this game with about as much skill involved as an idle game somehow approved to have badges, the level of control you do have is so absolutely minimal and borderline impossible to control that it's amazing this game isn't a solid 1-2 average.

I am sorry for a developer but I think you messed up in this game. It's even hard to get to mars in 20 days. The next time do something people can play and understand. You are doing games for people not for yourself.

Its SOOOOO much fun to keep restarting the game to get to Mars in 3 days using nothing but RNG and no skill that determines if I get the Hard badge (which is a badge that acknowledges the player's skills as they LEARN the game, not rewards the one out of a million chances you get to earn enough to reach Mars by day 3). SO MUCH FUN, I tell you. Please, continue to make lazy choices in game development. You're AMAZING...

Update; The title of this game should have been called "Hedgehog Launch Too Mars" & not "Hedgehog Launcher 2" which is what confused me in thinking this was just another normal horizontal distance launcher game, but it is a high-bread in which you Launch like a rocket because your trying to get too Mars after you get up there a wise you can then start your Horizontal flight to either the right or left always trying to get higher up until you reach the Moon and then Mars! 3/5 ;)

Imo; This version is like total idol game after you launch your HHog, with its head 90% pointing down and no control in this 'Vertical' up and down launching game. The no sense of horizontal movement in which I expect in a 'canon launcher' type game such as this. The vertical launcher concept just does not work. 1/5

Unplayable due to lag, and a time limit when it is a grinding game. Sticking around to try to get the hard (medium) badge of the day, rating this one star and then never looking back.

So, after getting high enough I just held right for a long time, going as fast as I can. Then, I left to go take a shower.

Sorry, but how the hell am I supposed to get to mars in 3 days? The early game is so very heavily stuck in the land of probability. You have so little fuel to maneuver with, it is either "hit a bunch of really high value coins randomly and also hit a bunch of high value platforms" or "go up, come down, never see a coin or platform, waste your day".

THE GAME IS NOT BROKEN! You are supposed to go through the earth/ground, as weird as it. Theres even an upgrade 'comrade' that gives you bonus to your launch based on timing which you'll need to get to Mars. This game is not broken, its just weirder than the usual launch games.

Here's my strategy, got me to Mars in 13 days: upgrade your slingshot as much as possible as soon as possible. Next priority is rocket fuel, and then your rockets. After that, get the radar to at least level 2 ASAP. Buff your e-rocket and fuel sucker every chance you get. Remember to keep upgrading your slingshot, especially its height. You don't absolutely have to get the third radar upgrade--save the money for another level on your slingshot, rocket fuel, e-rockets, or fuel sucker.

Why is this game broken? The launcher is upside down and doesn't work. Kongregate, maybe do some research on which games get BotD before you require them.

Inverted_Controls.exe. Despite getting used to the inverted controls, not a bad game, but even after playing a while, the L/R inversion still messes me up.
