Okay, yeah. I'm glad I check the comments. I was very confused as to how I'm upgrading a ton of shit and only got 1800 ft in the air.

@ArusDaryl: Actually, for space flight radar IS more important than being able to see things in the normal visual spectrum. Astronauts simply can't see well enough things that are thousands of miles away, while radar will show everything important. This makes the part where radar is more important than the screen a logical idea. Now, just need to deal with the logical part of sending a hedgehog into space...

Last time I played this, my computer was crappy, so I couldn't play good (all fuel was used with the press of one button). I'm glad I have a better computer now and I was able to get to mars in 10 days. I'm too lazy to try the 3 days or fewer one.

Some of the worst game design I've seen in a long time. A lesson to take from this: notice how the radar is so much more important than the rest of the game screen, and once you buy it, you end up spending the entire length of the game focused on a miniature game of Pong's mentally challenged cousin? Never, absolutely never implement such a feature into a game. Make the standard gameplay mode worth something. All it would have taken was for a wider camera view, instead of the radar.

Okay so after raging earlier I've worked it out a bit. It's still very luck based but if you can max out the fuel sucker upgrade and the radar by day three, you should be able to slowly hop, platform to platform, all the way to mars. Just take it slow, stare at the radar, look for purple platforms and hit as many other platforms on your way down to the purple one (to build up extra fuel)

Completely luck based. The hard badge is impossible to get without just refreshing and starting over again and again. Often on my first launch I won't even see a platform. Other times I'm bouncing around for minutes (still not enough to win in three days though) I thought hard badges were supposed to be based on skill?

This game is so bad. The steering is hard to control and never takes you where you want to. There are way too many upgrades that all cost so much yet they all seem to be necessary to move forward. I guess the point of the game is to try to go upwards, but all the bounce pads barely launch you up and it's the ONLY WAY TO GO UP. I think that really the main problem with this game is that the beginning catapult doesn't launch you nearly as far as you need to. You barely make enough height to get to one bounce pad which again, barely gives you any height. If you're even lucky enough to get a good bounce pad at the very beginning. The chances that you'll find another one is minimal. You'll likely just continue bouncing around on little useless ones that slowly descend you down back to the ground. Absolutely terrible game design.

Most important upgrades for hard badge are fuel sucker level 4 and max radar. Get those by day 3 and spend the rest on a 5+ levels of fuel tank and 1 or 2 emergency rockets

Okay, Kongregate. You have GOT to do something about your stupid ads. In the last week or so, they've made things laggy or even crashed my page. Which in games liek this means I have to start COMPLETELY OVER even though I had just made it to the moon. I hate this game and I was SO close to getting the achievement for the daily achievements thing and finally being done and now I have to start all over? Fix your stuff, Kongregate. The ads on your games shouldn't crash the whole damn page or make certain games unplayable and laggy.

If anyone is having difficulty in reaching Mars within 20 days, you should know that only Height, Band, Fuel Tank, Radar & E-Rocket upgrades are enough to reach higher.. Others are pretty much useless. Also don't forget to get Radar as soon possible, its extremely useful..

3 day challenge: reset untill you get around 3k on first day. To do it on first day pull down and find some purples, on half fuel go to one side with full force. Next buy emergency rockets and radar max(very useful) good luck

The controls are bad, the screen is too small to see anything. This is a BAD game with good graphics. Not suitable for BOTD

To be honest, the screen isn't big enough for this to feel enjoyable. The bar at the bottom covers anything below you, and you can barely see in either direction, so finding something to land on is extremely difficult. I was lucky if I hit anything in first 3 launches.

Finally reached mars in 3 days first earn money try 2 get the purple coins and in day 2 try 2 max height, band and width then u will easily reach mars i think lol and all the best

I did it in 11 days,and i thought i'm quick.Ii got a hundred thousand on the 10th day,maxing out everything.On day 11,I launched,ditched and flew straight to the Mars. The hard badge...3 days? R U serious?

I kinda wish you got money for something other than collecting money, such as your height and time. I haven't even seen any coins, and I'm a few days in.

Oh at least now I know it's not only me.. I've seen videos of people getting like millions of $$ per run with more platform than necessary. And here's me getting like 15$$ per run with no damn platforms appearing.. Just very frustrating and not enjoyable in the slightest.

great design where u have restart every time when u luck out. after 200 attempts u might get the badge.. yes great design pure joy! best game ever! never had soo much fun in my whole life. clearly the designers of this game will rule the game world, they really understand what gaming is about .

Upgraded the LAUNCHER to max and reached Mars directly. In 9 days of course. The most potential upgrades I used are fuel, fuel sucker and radar. You need to be very lucky with heigh reached and platforms to reach Mars in 3 days. Maybe hitting those purple platforms is the key. I will not try it. good luck.
