How can they be low on funding? They have the money to put all of these launchers in outer space. They just have their priorities wrong. Got it in 19 days. Not a clue how to get 3 days.

For all normal humans who couldn't understand something in this game: You're getting launched through Earth and out on the other side into space towards the moon, then you go to Mars from there. You should start by getting the rockets, then get the add-ons and launcher-upgrades. Focus on hitting the purple and the yellow platforms. The radar helps with showing where they are.

Oh....was surprised when I saw that I already gave the game 1 star. After 1st launch I found out why my rating was so low.

Full height launch with 1 comrades just launched me to mars instantly, without ever hitting a platform or using rockets. Band is supposed to be pulled downwards.

At the very last instants, purple platforms saved me on Day 3. Phew! I went with upgrading the very first upgrade twice and the second and third ones (up at top) once each. Then, ya hope for a good chunk of platforms and money to start showing up your way. If you're lucky, you can get up to over $1000 on just the first day. Once this happens, get an emergency rocket and upgrade radar and very first upgrade, as well as fuel tank if enough money. Then just blast through the next day or two and boom! Hard badge accomplished.

20 launches. 2 dollars collected, the HUD covers so much of the bottom of the screen and the bands are so elastic you can't get full launch without dropping it off the bottom of the game frame, which automatically releases the hedgehog at far less than it's total max velocity.

Day 9: Reached Mars, sent out Sgt. Hedgehog again for a test flight.
It's been 17 minutes, and I haven't touched the controls in 5. I think he's up there forever now.

i am with the hedgehog endangerment group and we are here to say please launch them there too many of them here, $40 should be granted by the government to help you shoot them all off.

I got to mars in 5 days, I felt like getting there in 3 days wasn't worth it. You have to restart over 100 times to get the perfect scenario on day 1. If you don't get 4k+ on day one, it is impossible to make it to mars in 3 days.

How the hell do you play this game? Are you kidding me? Hedgehog LAUNCH. Which direction do you usually launch something? Click. Pull. Launch. Arrows to move. Up to use emergency boost. Space to deploy parachute. Simple.

ugh...the hard badge is a matter of trying a few dozen runs before the first 2 runs get lucky and give you 20 to 30 times the money to work with. And no, ~2500% is not an exageration: my worst day 1 is 47 cents while my best is 124 dollars.

It's like Learn to Fly 3, except the moon is considerably nearer, even if you do start at the opposite side of the world...

I followed Muskar's advice, restarted a couple of times and got 5.5k on the first day, then ended up bouncing all the way to mars on day 2, lol.

For hard badge, I upgraded rocket fuel and a direction on the first day. Managed to make a decent amount of $$. At that point, more fuel and booster are good, but radar and fuel sucker should be a priority. With those, I managed to get enough money for some e-rockets on day 3. The rest went into maxing radar, fuel sucker and fuel amount. With these, I could just bounce around until I found a good path up. Used my second e-rocket to breach the line to Mars on day 3.

Okay, so for anyone struggling, rockets and radar are your best friends simply because they allow you to reach platforms. Purple and yellow are the best money makers, best height-reachers and give you the best chance of reaching another platform, but don't scoff at green and blue they can still help. Your first few days are about staying up the longest and getting used to the controls. Time in the air is just as important as height, so focus on upgrading your rockets and fuel first. After a few upgrades, upgrade your launcher bit by bit and make sure you balance them out and always save up if you can so money isn't wasted. I reached the moon on day 18 and mars on day 19. It's possible.

Easily one of the worst "easy" badges there is.
The directional confusion, the lack of explanation on whether or not the left rocket GOES left or is ON the left, the lack of tutorial in how things work, the opposite band pull glitch... this game never deserved the BotD
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I honestly don't see much of a difference here compared to the first one, except that you have to pull toward the sky and dig underground to reach the air. The first few tries, you really have to get lucky to get any money, but once you got a decent set-up, you get miles ahead. The game definitely needs a better understanding of its physics (and maybe an arrow to show where to pull for day one).

I think this game suffers from an existential crysis, it wants to be a grind-to-win, but the badges demand you to beat it long before you do any grinding, seriously, what are you smoking? can I have some?
