It's ok.... I mean it's not the best game I have ever played. It could be more engaging. The whole puzzle thing gets old without anything other than just jumping.

I've beaten this game before on Newgrounds with a ton less deaths, the controls seem 5 times 'slipperier' than on Newgrounds, the character keeps randomly running one direction for up to five seconds! after I let go of that direction, on occasion. And it's random, so I can't just plan for it.

Sorry to say this, but you have totally lost the spirit of SotC. SotC was not platformer with huge levels that have faces, it was about climbing and struggling with living entities, it had huge philosophical aspect. Also, making 'huge' levels is extremely easy in Actionscript once you discover that MovieClips are sh*t and start using BitmapData -_-

I kept wanting to see what would happen after every map. Game was short, but surely worth the time I've used in the game. I wasn't even thinking that the Pale Man of the North would get killed at the end. The game was nice, but I would have liked more maps. I'm giving it a 5.

Finished the first level and thought 'well that was a good waste of five minutes' then started the second and though 'ive got five more minutes to waste' the gameplay isnt very hard, or even interesting for that matter. only driving force is to see what your climbing.

this is a great game with relevance to shodow of the colosus which was another good game just because the graphics arent the best doesnt mean its bad it just helps with the atmosphere 5/5

This is one of the best platformers i've ever played, and the art is beautiful. And surprisingly, there's only been 1 comment suggesting that this should be a typical button masher.

Loved it, great game. The only thing I didn't like was the ending, but I guess I can forgive you for that since it was so awesome.

5/5 except maybe that men cant run underwater. Overall, good story, good ending =P, kings suck and pale men ftw. cant wait for sequel.

A really fun game for how long it was. After the first level, though, I had this weird high-pitched squeal going the whole time, was kind of annoying.

Nice game, I disagree with people who think jump should be the up arrow, that would be confusing to the right hand for all the movement. I like the X button jump a lot better. These kinds of games are my favorite, they test the natural speed of the human mind to do what naturally comes into their heads. It's not a strategical game, but one that makes you think over obstacles subconsciously. Very nice.

It's pretty easy to see why jump isn't up. You have to be able to climb and jump with two different keys, so that you can jump off any place you want on the vines. It would be less intuitive to make "climb up" something other than up arrow than to make jump something else.

on the last level i fell from a high platform and landed way back on a checkpoint i had long since passed. this resulted in me having to start at that checkpoint and having to redo half the level. minor problem but overall very fun game

Good fun, if a little frustrating at times. But yeah - there seems to be no reason to make jump anything other than up, it's simply a more intuitive control system. Also, it'd be nice if reset was something a little harder to accidentally press than "space." Oh yeah, and the music does not contribute one bit to the atmosphere - really not to my taste.

Very well done game. I loved Shadows of the Colossus (PS2, if you haven't played it, you should), so this was right up my alley.

The game could be longer...... And I agree with Quix, the up arrow should be jump
The revivals maybe should be limited for added difficulty, but the creatures and platforms were very inventive and kept you guessing.
Good job!
