unbelievably resource-consuming.
also doesn't save when quality setting is changed. have to change that after every fight.

I appreciate the continuous mode at the end, but it'd be great if you could use the stars on any part of an item, rather than just the one acceptable square. That'd make for a much less frustrating experience.

Good concept, but the controls are really fuzzy. I keep grabbing things as I am moving past them, and I should be able to use wasd instead of the arrows if I have to use the mouse also.

It's an OK game but it really needs an option to skip the "battle" cut scenes. And if I can't keep stuff from one round to the next, it should auto-sell the excess.

I was concerned that it was a nerdook game from the aesthetics, which initially made me nervous, but then it was actually ok.

pleeeeeaseeee let me skip the final animation... it's just the preparation of a stage, and then a curtain comes down, everytime: I don't need to watch it everytime, I remember it!...

Despite what others are saying. I give this game 5 stars simply on the grounds that I really enjoyed it a lot. Kuddos.

This game takes what used to be one of the most frustrating aspects of an RPG and has made it into a source of entertainment. The greatest flaw of course is the ability to focus solely upon three statistics and still guarantee a win. Secondly, item values are largely skewed in relation to their sizes: the large potions is worth as much as the smallest potion. All in all, good game but it could use some more work. 4/5

The strong and weak stats of a boss are basically meaningless since you just scramble to pick up items and then at the end try to buff up 3 of them to win. Although I find range easiest to forget about because the ammo is annoying to collect and the weapons seem to be the largest.

After a certain point (of maxing stats), I find it becomes a game of "which item is more effective" than "grab everything possible. For example, two breastplates will max out defense, two battle axes will max out attack, etc. Also, if you give the hero a blunderbuss (or other ranged weapon), and give him extra ammo in another slot, that is accounted for. Hope this helps

Interesting idea. Learned how to store stuff efficiently playing flash rpg's. The ability to rotate the item is amazing, and one I didn't realize we had until level 5 (Stupid, i know.) It made it a lot easier. However, people's complaints about being able to just ignore one trait and breeze through it are valid. It's a good starting place though. Maybe some kind of bonus for winning all four? You'd have to have some kind of deeper game for a bonus to be useful though. Anyway, good game, 3/5 for innovation but shallowness. I could see this becoming a mechanic in another game, though
