What really irks me is when your in the middle of a combo when you run out of fuel, sometimes it is even a chore to land

I found a way after about six tries to do solo star pretty easily. Max out miners, bombers, and bouncers and avoid the other two. Once you have all these at 100, you can raise gunner and homer a little bit (not above 30-40). Save up 3500-4000 and buy all the homers and gunners at once. Those two hit you with rockets constantly making it difficult to make it back to the ground to bank your points. Also, when you're bouncing off their rockets, you aren't raising your combo, so on later levels it's hard to get the points in time. Seriously, I went the entire time without touching the ground once. At the very end I hit and came up about 300 short. I hope this helps.

Well Solo Star honestly ought to be a hard badge and the only reason it isn't is because Free Flyer isn't that difficult AFTER you have Solo Star.

you think these guys would learn after a while that launching missiles at the tank just helps it. If i were the enemy i would would just troll indestructo tank from a high altitude untill it exploded from lack of combos and fuel.

What a terrible game, not even slightly entertaining, no story line, leveling means nothing, spend points on spawning more enemies in the air to bounce on. This game is atrocious, why did they even waste the time putting Badges on here. I've played hundreds of games on Kongregate that have done a million times better entertaining and having a nice storyline, go badge those.

3/5 it's fun game but i am tired exploding in the air then i have enaugh combo to get exp. last time i even touched the ground but my exp bar didin't go lvl up fast enaugh so the exp bar just grew till it got to right side of the screen :D

If you want the Team Terror medal on your own, just make sure you DO NOT BUY ANYTHING. Since the experience value of the missiles goes up with each round, you never need to shoot more than 10 of them to get to the next level, and more enemies just makes it harder to shoot them down. Once you complete level 17, you'll have enough money to buy all the upgrades at once.

@signinginslame Then turn your computer' sound off, instead of rating a great game poorly for not having a mute button. helps to use common sense.

I would probably play this for hours, except the music sucks, and I can't mute it. >:( Open letter to all developers: I know you're proud of your music, but not everyone wants the repetitive droning.

My friend told me to get homers and gunners for the 90 feet badge (or the two things with homing missles, if I've got my names confused here). Maxing those gets altitude, then use the up arrow for your bomb boost when you're up around 60-70 feet. I got the botd before I got the "easy" badge...

Also... I didn't know it didn't save your progress, so I've got to level 15 and ran out of fuel, going for the badge of the day... looks like I have to start over :( Gah

I am enjoying this game, my only fault is that it explodes when you run out of fuel, meaning you HAVE to end the combo or else you die :(

For those of you who didn't read the badges before playing, and now don't want to lose all these precious exp points :)
Chain Chump badge - 25 combo
Chain Champ badge - 75 combo
Solo Star badge - max out all enemies (buy all upgrades)
Free Flyer badge - fly up to 90 altitude and then land (max out all the gunners and homers, and just catch up missiles until you are at 75+, then just jump)

I love this game!! Extremely fun and addictive; a very unique mechanic! However, the penalty for running out of fuel seems a wee bit harsh when it happens in the middle of a 20-combo.

It is possible to get over 90 feet. I just used quick play and fully upgraded gunners and homers and used the boom blast when I was above the screen. I was lvl 14 AT THE TIME.

I'm not sure why everyone things "Solo Star" is a hard badge?! Or the BOTD for that matter. Make combos large, earn XP....level stuff up. It's rather simple

This is NOT a "medium" badge! This is an "IMPOSSIBLE" badge! The only way I seem to gain any decent altitude above a 74 is when I blow up, and since I have to touch the ground again in order to get the badge, my final altitude of 104 is rather moot. Who in Kongregate thought this badge up?! I've been playing on and off since late last night, and STILL haven't gotten the badge!
