Why is everything on that island so sadistic? I didn't do anything to them, if they want me gone so badly, shouldn't they be helping me repair my ship so I can leave?

It would be helpful if the '100 enemies killed Best so far:' actually showed a figure as a guide to necessary future performance.

Hard badge guide:
1. Only buy the artillery for those red golems and the gold nail for the floating balloons.
2. After buying those two upgrades, just repair as soon as you can.
3. I was able to repair my ship within 11 days with no enemies hitting my ship.
Tips:
1. Cage the birds when they are above large groups of enemies! The bombs they drop do as much damage as your artillery, so instead of spending $20, cage the birds at the right moment! (bird's bomb can't hit the floating balloons, which is why you should upgrade your nail to make your life easier)
2. Get the fast moving units first such as the red flames that fly.

Just buy artillery to kill those golems and save the money you get until you reach 50k, you will usually make it by day 11.

So the reason I did all of that was just so the captain could jump into the water and get eaten by a shark, just so a lane of sharks tagged with all of the developers names could parade around the place like idiots? 5/5.

This game would be a lot better if you could move the turret gun instead of it being stuck in one spot. Unique tower defense style game but not sure I like the execution.

Uummm, pretty sure I killed at least 100 enemies in the 17 days it took me to fix my ship. And yet I haven't been entered into the challenge.

Well I followed the recipe for the hard badge, but the random generator is apparently unreliable. Day 11, I was about 2.5k short, and I know that the times I tried it before, I would have gotten it if I hadn't gotten hurt. This time, perfect game, only the two upgrades, and I was 2.5k short. 3/5, for reliability and controls.

an interesting take on the everyday tower defense game, but everything mouse related seems to be unbearably clunky. the upgrades are not really balanced and the gameplay suffers because of it's controls, and it doesn't help that these "magnet-ball-things" keep sticking to the cursor and won't let go, but this last one is probably just buggy flash and it's 2008 so i'll give it a slight pass. still, didn't like it, 2/5

Apart from what others said about upgrade tips, DO NOT repair your ship whenever money is available! Wait for 50k and then repair all at a time. Otherwise, there won't be as many monsters as needed for 50k.

Great game but it is too fast ! It is not quick enough to drag the items from the bar... needs hotkeys-> it will be game for gods.

The nail's hit box seems to be to the left of the nail, either that or the hit box of the enemies are to the right of where the slimes are

quick tip try to wait til the birds are over other enemies to save time and money, and also with the 11 day walkthrough great job =P

I just completed the game in 12 days, even taking the 20$ cost of each shot, it looks like it's just a matter of receiving enough enemies to defeat, otherwise you simply won't earn enough money in 11 days. Maybe I'll try again but it's a bit disappointing.

Fun game, tho I'm going to have to invest in a mouse for my laptop if im gonna get the hard badge. The touch pad keeps scrolling the screen up and down when i try and go to fast x.x

Although battling with the controls was sometimes a pain (my booty for weapon hot key) and it was frustrating that snipers wasted ammunition shooting iron balls I was already throwing, I liked that you had to actually move the nail in the direction of the pointy-end to pop things... and I grinned when they made "Armor Games" walk the plank at the end.

I found out that key to success on hard badge is to kill all monsters as fast as possible. Do not bother with waiting for birds. Spamkill everything! I was 1K short of completing in 10 days.

Good concept, bad game. 2/5 in its current state, hotkeys would bring it to about a 4/5 or maybe even a 5/5, however.
