Directly outside of the stomach is a large ball of muscle tissue, which helps to digest food, expel waste, and allows for a novel means of locomotion for the sushi cat. The muscles can contract, squeezing it into a smaller shape, and then release, allowing it to bounce into the air. This is possible because the sushi cat lacks a solid skeletal structure, instead being held in shape by turgor pressure. This also results in the sushi cat being very elastic. Because stomach and muscle tissue are elastic, the sushi cat can expand to enormous sizes after a large meal, but only until its food is digested. Afterwards, it is expelled and the sushi cat can return to its original size. The sushi cat has vestigial limbs, as a result of its bouncing motion being more efficient than legs for large masses, as bones are not strong enough to support sushi cats in their full state. Truly, the sushi cat is a perfectly adapted organism for its ecological niche, "the consumer of all".

Allow me to take a moment to discuss the biology of Felis sushius, commonly known as the sushi cat. The sushi cat is a bizarre and wonderful creature, evolved from the common house cat. It is notable for its spherical bouncy physiology. Most of the volume of a sushi cat is merely one large, round stomach, which also takes on the functionality of intestines, absorption of nutrients. It has not needed to be terribly efficient, as the sushi cat's natural environment is abundant with food.

wow sushi cat is like blue jelly and squishes all the time and always keeps its shape. Im actually expeting that day when its stomach bursts (explodes)

The whole time i was playing this game,i couldnt stop laughing.how fat it got and how it was just how it sweezed threw and being dragged around.Though i hated the powerup that blows you up,it has gotten me sushi on a few lvls,but usualy i'd go either up the same path,or hit something and bouce back tword where i picked it up with imense speed

i still dont liek this game, i know so many peopel disagree with my rating but 2/5 is where i put it at, they put some sushi in areas where you cant really get unless your extremely lucky, they put a pin wheel in the middle at the bottom than can push you to one side but it amkes it impossible to get the sushi under it and at the other side... 2/5

Ok, level 8 I keep getting stuck in a loop. It would be better if the game could recognise when the cat is so fat that it can't fit through any of the gaps to get to the bottom so I don't have to keep restarting.

You really need something where if the cat doesn't get a piece of sushi after 15 seconds or so it starts downsizing. Infinite loops happened way too much, especially anytime there was a rotating beam next to a wall.

who doesnt love turning into a cat and becoming grossly obese by eating smiling sushi in order to save the lives of millions of guinea pigs from an angry volcano?

Level 7 reached – No new badges next week, as Kongregate's badge-making guy will be off on an IRL honeymoon. Don't bother congratulating him -- his new wife is fatter than the cat from this game. Hairier too.
