There is no way to convert gold into crystals, meaning that if one gets stuck, one must grind the pvp in order to progress, which is long and tedious. The pvp itself isn't interesting, as anyone playing can't use spells or titans (which limits the player's tactical ability and overall power) and the energy system requires me to either sacrifice five of much needed crystals (which I or any other player may have run out of) or wait 25 minuets for each energy to restore in order to continue. There are only 6 heroes to chose from, 2 of which (which is ONE THIRD of the total number) are unplayable unless you use kreds. That is unacceptable. Also, I have found numerous spelling errors, which is odd to see considering the pages of correctly written text of Epic War 2. This game just feels like it doesn't bring anything new to the series.

i actually never expected ANOTHER sequel. I was really hyped! Until I found this to an slightly improved epic war saga copy. I really don't like the fact that you have to grind so much to get basic stuff.. I really liked EW 1 to 3. EW4 was okay-ish, still a strong game (the 3-heroes formation I didn't like too much, but it let you arrange units however you liked). EW5 was kind of meh, mechanics were kind of imbalanced. I liked the upgrade system on units (items were kind of bad but oh well..). Epic War Saga was a grindfest. The combat was bad. I didn't like the PvP system. It had a mobile game feeling to it. The major problem it had was how hard it was to progress without paying money (the Pay 2 Win model). Now you make the same mistake with this game. I am really dissapointed with this game.

I don't know when these new developers got ahold of the Epic War game series, but this game is a digrace to the originals. Kongregate is just losing more and more of my trust each added badge.
