Actualy, piuting the water without the magnet is not an unrecoverable mistake. I filled the thing about 6 times before I got it exactly right.

lallll this sucks I don't want to start all over again because 1 stupid mistake? I poured the water in to that thing before putting the magnet... 1/5.

I would not drive a van that had most of the engine sitting in between the passenger and driver seats. This highlights why I give this a low rating. Many of the items we needed were placed in silly places, or were used in silly ways which made the game longer or more difficult.
EX- A gas fireplace, without any controls in the house, fed by a cheap rubber tube that can be clamped shut but inexplicably holds its shape well enough to look like a copper pipe? Not up to code, anyway. A good place for sump pump parts? Under your driver's seat! Everyone keeps spark plugs in a safe, right? Desk keys... hm... better keep those in the glove box.
I also spent a lot of time wondering why I couldn't tie the magnet to the extention cord or something obvious like that. Several times you give the player the ability to solve a problem, but it isn't *the* solution so it won't work.
Also, I agree with Eclecto that the notes were absurd.

Dude, Praesumo, really old vans have tiny hoods and the engines can be accessed from the inside. Now, in a manner of stuck up douchebaggery much like your own: ...(sigh)

Bwahahaha. "you put the sparkplugs in the engine" from inside the van...yup, that's possible...not like i needed to get out and pop the hood and get my tools out or anything...(sigh)

I really wish you point'n'click people would find a more believable venue for clues than the random handwritten note from someone else who tried to escape but died. Maybe they wouldn't have died if they hadn't wasted so much time leaving all those damned notes all over the place.

I have to say this is one of the best escape games I've ever played. It was hard, yet I didn't get stuck and frustrated. I gave it a 5/5, I hope there is a II and III.

To Lobster, Vegos, and others who fault the genre/premise for lack of originality: The thing about the Zombie genre is that it is defined by a concrete set of rules, and zombie fans (such as myself) are happiest when there is little or no deviation from them.
While faithfulness to the conceit is crucial, the creativity comes from working within constraints. So, while the plot is familiar, the the game creator has shown skill and imagination in applying zombie apaocalypse conventions to the room-escape genre (which, apart from Fogfall 2, has rarely been done well). I applaud this effort, and found the end product to be satisfying all around.
4.5/5

One of the best escape games. It's large, complicated, but not unfair in any way. Not too hard or too easy and with a big budget. Nice writing, too. 5/5 stars.

I filled the pipe with water before I tossed in the magnet, so now I need to empty the pipe before I can throw water in it again. How do I do this?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, it is a point and click game, and it is by Atomic Cicada, but I wouldn't quite call it "visually stunning and original", nor would I think it was made by any "mad minds".

I've never liked this sort of game. This one is no different. I simply watched the walkthrough, as I have no intention of wasting my time trying to find everything in a game such as this. The story is pretty basic. Based on the other comments here, it seems pretty glitchy. Graphics weren't exactly top-notch, either. 3/5 for much effort, though. I'd give a 2.5/5, but Kongregate hasn't reached that level of rating yet.
